Sucks for the future of Florida though. DeSantis was supposed to secure Florida elections, it looks like at this rate he's likely to go the way of Kemp and would rather hand the state over to soembody like Abrams then let Trump take the state's votes.

This is a genuine foreign policy disagreement that we now have with DeSantis. So maybe he needs to stay and do good work in Florida, and leave the foreign policy positions to people who want peace and an end to, well, endless, useless wars.

When one says "disagreement" what is meant is not between DeSantis and the base, but the base and the donors DeSantis is using to fund his campaign.

I actually believe DeSantis is smart and pragmatic enough to know this is a loser issue but he has to dance.

But if he has to dance...and he agrees to dance....there's no difference. He may as well also hold those policy positions.

He looks like he's turning into a Youngkin. Which is funny becuase after the DeSantis drama I started seeing RNC polls going around for 2024 and all of a sudden Youngkin's name is on them. I wonder if he's the GOPe's next attempt to oust Trump for 2024 now that DeSantis just went full seppuku.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 8 ▼
– Cozette 8 points 65 days ago +8 / -0

I've always monitored Never Trump Establishment social media sites to gain intel.

In 2021, I noticed they were scheming to hype Ron in order to get rid of Don then get rid of MAGA. At that time, their backup guy WAS Youngkin.

Of course, President Trump also knew what these schemers were up to. That's why Trump started sending warning growls via Truth to Ron and then to Youngkin..

Youngking, a former CEO, was savvy enough and rich enough to heed Trumps warnings. Unfortunately, Ron wasnt. Hence Trump no longer commented on VAs Guv and why his warnings to Ron got louder and stronger.

Ironically, Trumps hasn't been trying to harm young Ron. Trumps been trying to save him from the Establishment jackals and hyenas who are leading him to his doom.

Hopefully, the increasing push back to his presidential campaign will convince Ron to stay in Florida and do a good job there for another four years. If he doesnt, Trump will be forced to end Ron like the dad was forced to end the life of Ol Yellar.when the beloved dog became rabid and deadly.

Ron is way out over his skis. He still has time to change his mind and serve the second term he asked Florida to give him.

Then the headlines disappeared and DeSantis inherited her media spotlight.

trump wants to leave the party stronger and more representiv of what the rank and file wants...this means not destroying potential presidential runners for 2028. Desantis has potential but at the moment the uniparty is trying to convince him to run. All support he sees will withdraw if he ran against Trump 2024.

– Block_Helen 2 points 64 days ago +2 / -0

I'm pretty mad at DeSantis right now but I can see what you're saying. It is like Trump to give the guy a chance. But Trump has to be pissed, too.

The GOPe probably told Ron they'd refuse to back him if he waited until 2028. He has decided to run, that is certain. But Trump would be forgiving if Ron abandons his campaign soon. So Ron's got a tough choice to make. My guess is he'll choose wrongly.

Anyway, I'm increasingly skeptical of DeSantis's abilities. He needs a lot more seasoning and I am not even sure what his bedrock principles are. They shift in the wind.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– pcpoet 1 point 64 days ago +1 / -0

got to remember that DeSantis is not looking this the same as a voter. his goal is president eventually. DeSantis and Trump have always been potential opponents. I believe the smart thing for DeSantis is to wait till 2028 but if he is being told by the Bush wing of the republican party to run or be destroyed that's going to weight heavy on the decision.

More likely that Meatball has always been a neocon RINO and used MAGA the same way many of them used the Tea Party years ago as a means to gain office. Pirate McCain did the same thing.

"Oh you mean like Trump might be"

Kudos for asking.

Actually just the opposite.

Ron "controlled opposition" == a REAL Regime "controlled opposition" candidate which is easy to figure out for those willing and able to research and use dispassionate, critical analysis.

Don "controlled opposition == a Regime PSYOP initially spread on alt media sites.

This anti Trump PSYOP, one of many on alt media sites, targets people who are understandably fearful of being fooled and betrayed. Its a long standing CIA tactic used to undermine a popular leader the CIA wants to take out.

I was there the very first week desantis “opened up florida” after lockdown for folks out of state. I remember having to go through the police checkpoints on the state line about where I had been just to get to the beach condo we own.

I also remember accidentally driving past a worker and had police car sirens blared at me and was yelled at through megaphones by the cops for “attempting to avoid the Covid checkpoint.” My kids were in the car and thought I was going to be arrested when they came up to my window and made me pull to the side so I could be interrogated more.

He’s a feather in the wind. Where the $$$ goes, so will he.

I didn’t like how Covid was handled by trump or his initial hires, but trump is the only one who can’t be influenced by the establishment because he doesn’t need the money. Like Rush used to say in 2016, Trump didn’t think the left or establishment right could be so evil.

"The retard podcasters"

These podcasters had a choice. They chose Mammon over MAGA.

Rons online psywar campaign is headed by Christina Pushaw who learned how to run political psywar ops by working for a Soros NGO in Europe. Before being hired by Ron, she was in Ukraine helping Zalensky to get elected. She was actually forced to register as foreign agent while working for Ron after getting busted for a FARA violation

In late 2021, Christina began courting Con Inc pundits, vloggers and social media influencers. They are now being paid, directly or indirectly, to influence their followers by dissing Don and hyping Ron.

She also has brigades of meatbots and bots that flood any site that allows comments with scripted don dissing, ron defending talking points.

Personally, I'm taking this opportunity to make lists of who is who before these mouths for hire go underground again hoping that when they reemerge people will have forgotten who they are so they can grift again for another Christina and Ron.

I'm all for Trump knocking sense into DeSantis to nip this in the bud now. That's why Trump's somewhat exaggerated statements about FL don't bother me much. This is just tactical. DeSantis has to be convinced not to run, or his backers have to be convinced not to back him. The sooner it happens, the sooner Ron focuses again on his job.

Precisely but as others have said, “normies” don’t understand this and when Trump and DeSantis become chummy buddies again the damage will already be done even though they (and you and I) know this is all posturing.

Trump NEEDS Florida to win and he is going to have to fine tune the way he attacks DeSantis’ political path or risk losing a percentage of Floridians that will matter.

"GUARANTEE a democrat wins the White House".

Fortunately, this narrative is jus typical political fear porn; a psyop deployed by Establishment Republicans every four years so normies pick the Establishment candidate in the presidential primaries.

In reality, Trumps the ONLY Republican candidate who can not only win but who, after winning, can rekt the uni party's party.

Hence why they've deployed a massive and unhinged lawfare campaign to destroy him or to at least prevent him from becoming the Republican nominee.

Obviously, if Trump really was a GUARANTEED loss and/or if the elections really were securely rigged, they wouldn't be so desperate to stop Trump from running By Any Means Necessary.

After all, candidate Trump would be a huge $$$$ maker and ratings machine for them while no other candidate would come close.

"a gas station operating as a country" is an unclear analogy for several reasons, not the least of which is that gas stations are small & russia is the largest nation on earth.

it does export oil, but it's not the only country, so that alone doesn't disqualify it from being a sovereign nation

"a gas station with nuclear missiles" is somehow even more strange to me because even if i did see a gas station with nuclear missiles, i would probably call it a "nuclear missile base"

Who would think it's a good idea politically to cater to neo-cons to gain a trust from MAGA people.

It’s called playing the game…. How about we sit back and observe before we draw conclusions, I’m only judging by his actions..

"Its called playing the game"

Agreed.

Now its obvious rons not ready to "play the game".

Right now, his game skills are state league; not national/international league.

Unfortunately, those who are exploiting the kid are casually cruel and are perfectly willing to destroy ron in order to prevent don from destroying them.

Fortunately, they will fail and don, with our help, will get Retribution, including Retribution for what these monsters have done to ron.
