I own a Roomba. I take it apart to clean it, regularly. I have long hair, so I can imagine this situation. What I see is a publicity stunt.
Roombas come with some automatic features that cause them to start cleaning in the morning. They have rollers that could easily sweep up a chunk of loose hair lying on the floor. That's all credible.
But, calling 911 to get paramedics to deal with the mess is beyond stupid. The only thing that's going to happen is some hair gets twisted around a roller. The solution is to flip over the Roomba, pull out the rollers, and unwind the hair.
If she or somebody with her had the wherewithal to call 911, she could also flip it over, release the rollers, and unwrap her hair.
I watched two robotic haulers stuck in a hallway the other day; each one waiting for the other to move. It gives me hope for the upcoming robot apocalypse.
I had long hair in high school. While using an orbital sander on the eves of my house before painting, it got too close to my head. It sucked my hair into the motor vents and wrapped around the motor shaft! Damn thing zipped it in and smacked me on the head. It was pretty funny when I figured out what had happened!
I could see this happening, I don't know about calling the police over it but I guess if you can't see what's going on to remove it yourself. Actually now that I think about it, that's really the kind of stuff police should be doing, helping people out in unfortunate situations, totally fine with my tax dollars going to that.

This story is BS.
But the Roomba was shouting 'This is MAGA country!'.
You overestimate the average metro inhabitant. They barely leave their homes for food anymore.
Well if Blue or Pink Hair is involved, I could see it totally happening. :D
Incoming LAWSUIT baby!
I'm sure it's single independent women who don't need no man and plans on owning lots of cats and dying alone.
This is what happens when you make a habit of sleeping on the floor. Also, just get up and cut your own damn hair, you lazy piece of shit.
Came here to say this.
Who TF is sleeping on the floor like a gook?
sleeping habits and culture change throughout the world
some countries you'll see people sleeping outside. They own the house, but it's hot, so they're on cots in the street
A roomba... inside the house... was able to reach human head hair.
Shes still in "b̶e̶d̶" the floor.
PLEASE STOP HELPING THOSE WHO FAIL NATURAL SELECTION.
oh i never said they were smart
sleeping on the floor is as dumb as owning a roomba
Chinaman problems.

Thank you for this piece of uplifting news
Wouldn't the obvious solution just to be to take her weave off?
I can assume they aren't paying the bill for the unnecessary ambulance call?
