I worked for Alaska Airlines for 22 years and I watched that place go from a mans company to a gay fest. HR took over like a 900lbs gorilla. HR took away pilot hiring from the chief pilot. Diversity instead of quality. Boeing designed aircraft has height and weight recommendations yet HR ignored those so now they have FA's that are too fat to walk down the aisle. They have FA's that are too short to reach the first aid kits. And now they hired mentally ill and fragile people that kill themself.

When they still couldn’t get the numbers they actually recruited from Africa. When they had gotten the quota they wanted, they bragged to the feds about all the diversity. The feds told them hiring foreigners doesn’t count towards diversity. You needed to hire US citizens. United was then stuck with a large group of pilots that would never be able to upgrade to captain. I have flown with 4 black pilots. They are just like black hood rats. Low IQ. Poor judgement. Nothing is their fault.
They are told for years that they can be the opposite sex successfully. When the realization finally hits that this will never happen and these people were lying to them, they kill themselves. This is only going to get worse.
I don't watch TV any more, and so seeing a commercial like this is very jarring.
