Never was. They're both from Florida.

That's not a disqualifier for running. They can both be from Florida

While true, that would mean Florida's EVs won't count. So in practice it will not happen.

Trump could pick any state for his home state if he wanted. It's not a real restriction.

Well he'd have to physically move there and submit the paperwork but yes that is also technically true, but if he were going to do that he would have done so already. He moved to Florida. He is a Floridian.

Yeah there's loads of better options too. Kari Lake potentially or Kristi Noem or Thomas Massie or Sarah Sanders.

Not sure what Trump will value most this round. I hope it is loyalty.

I am also a ladypede and I am fine with women in leadership roles as long as they are considered/chosen based on qualifications and job skills first and foremost. Putting women in high positions just because they are chicks is stupid in my opinion.

Kari Lake, by all looks of things, would be fantastic as part of a team leading this country. She spits fire and as far as I can tell, is as America First as Trump himself.

Or MTG, but, at this point the best bet is SHERIFF GRADY. If he has any chance of dealing with the deepstate, he is going to need people with law enforcement experience. Also from Florida though, its not like he cant just relocate... I saw Trump say no one cares about the VP pick, that no one votes for the VP, fucking bullshit. Especially when it comes to Trump, it matters more than any candidate in U.S history. Most days I think Trump is on the spectrum of being retarded. He seriously needs a strategist that is competent and that he listens to. The amount of shit and incompetence people tolerate from Trump is astounding. Imagine if he made good decisions on top of his charisma, fucking dumbass.

As much as I dislike her, you are probably on to something. We don't put someone on the ticket that appeals to US, we need to put someone on the ticket that appeals to THEM...the idea is to get the big undecided middle to vote for Trump, we're already going to vote for him, but we are not enough by ourselves. People think we're the majority...we are not even close.

Trump: "Ok, I will not hire anyone who supports DeSantis over me because they are not loyal to me."

Exactly. And he was on to DeSantis well before most here could see through it. Although IMO it was obvious and a bit surprised so many got fooled. When Ron talks about certain topics it's like there's an elephant in the room. He dances around Trump for example and will avoid talking about him. It's so fake. I'm done with fake politicians I want them to tell it like it is and be upfront and honest when they talk. Seems Ron can't do that. Too busy calculating what he thinks people and his donors want to hear.

The only people who support DeSantis are anti-MAGA RINOs and swamp creatures. He is wise to not hire any of them.

permalink parent save report block reply

– Cozette 1 point 73 days ago +2 / -1

"His own cabinet".

Did he hire " his own cabinet"?

Nope.

Who did?

Only the SENATE decides who to HIRE or not hire for his administration, including his cabinet.

Obviously, especially during the first 2.5 years that Trump was being investigated for being a traitor and illegitimate President installed by Putin, the Guardians of the Swamp SENATE, who expected they'd get an excuse they could sell to republican normies to remove Trump and install Pence, weren't going to hire someone they knew was MAGA.

Anyone who blames Trump rather than the SENATE doesn't under the DC Swamo rules that Trump found ways to btfo.

Hopefully they'll start asking themselves WHY they don't know something so important. Why didn't the pundits they trust take a few minutes to point this out?

Sadly, that looks like it will be a big list...including many that you'd think would have guts like McEnany

One error Trump made in 2016 was hiring RNC hacks who were for Rubio/Cruz to staff his White House instead of true Trump supporters who were in the streets and on the phones.

Trump needs to call out these traitors by name

Presidents don't hire the people in their administration, including their cabinet.

The SENATE HIRES everyone in the presidents administration, including his cabinet.

The SENATE refused to even give initial job interviews to some people Trump wanted.

The only people Trump could hire were his personal staff and advisors.

If you didn't know this perhaps ask why not. Who let you down by keeping you in the dark about something so basic and so important?

When making the South Park movie, Trey Parker and Matt Stone bumped heads with the MPAA. Whenever the MPAA told them a joke went too far, they would suggest a different one that was even worse.

If he says it himself, fine. I disagree with it but it’s his choice.

Let’s see what he says tonight. They’ll know what supporters are really feeling at the rally and I have the feeling most are sick of the media spin on his DeSantis attacks.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he got some solid boos if he goes hard on DeSantis, like he did when he was taking about the “vaccines.”
