You have chosen…wisely
This was the gayest story I've read on here so far.
Thank God the rally was on today.
Castle docterine doesn't apply to visitors. This moron is lucky pops didn't unload on him. All you LARPers should know better, show some respect. The last thing you want to try is to Alpha a father in his own home when you are trying to bed his daughter.
Don't invite someone into your home and disrespect them because 'its your home' thats a bitch move. Stop waving guns around your daughters boyfriends and being a dick to make a point. The only point you're making is that you're an asshole.
Excellent point! Trust your daughter's instincts and only intervene if you feel she's being taken advantage of
The first girl in high school that I dated had a police officer (SWAT) for a dad
He made sure to show me "his" SWAT equipment (police van, firearms, ballistic shield, etc). He always made things awkward and weird; we eventually broke things off because her dad was a compulsive and controlling asshole
The breaking point was when he pulled me over when I was leaving the school parking lot to "check on me"
I think he meant to write "autism activates" meaning he misunderstood the social meaning of the situation.
"and then they took out their penises and slapped them down next to their guns."
What a gay story, bruh.
Proper gun usage includes not using it as an intimidating factor on someone who isn't a lethal threat.
What a ridiculously dumb response.
You obviously have never been in the "meet the parents" situation. Firstly, this green text is fake and gay. Shit like this doesn't happen in the real word. If a father is clearly hassling you over his 20+ year old daughter, he's a fucking douchebag who actually doesn't care about his daughter, or you're obviously some weird undesirable that needs to get gone. Fathers don't do this shit to a young man they can respect.
If anyone wants to LARP and say you pull out guns on your daughter's boyfriends, you probably have a small cock and secretly want to fuck your daughter.
Sometimes you have to roll the hard six.
To each their own. This sounds like a guy who had no GF until 24.
If you're 24 and the dad is staring daggers at you, you probably are dressed like an idiot and sound like an idiot. The fact he is carrying a gun into his GF's parent's house is pretty strange too.
Sounds like a guy who is always "battling" people. And mystified why people always challenge him, without even considering that maybe he sounds like he has a constant chip on his shoulder.
Downvote away, but in 99.9% of the world, carrying a gun into your future in-laws house would be considered psychotic. And I am not anti-gun.
Statistically it is not at all. And I guarantee you are a fag just from your cringey username. Maybe check that no one is secretly slipping you soy.
literally a covert redditor
Outed him. Good work.
And quoting me with "muh" in front of it is not top reddit fag style?
Pulling out a gun, as if spending $300 on some metal, makes you personally into a badass is laughable. And trying to out-alpha a girl's dad is weird too.
I would just say "That's a nice gun you got sir. Have you been to Frankie's Gun Range? Yeah me too. So let me tell you about the business I'm starting. I think it will help me get ahead."
You're an absolute fucking moron if you think the whole point of owning a gun is to make yourself a badass. But then again, reading your responses, it's pretty clear that's exactly what you are. With that in mind, I'll break it down for your simple little head: A gun is an equalizer. The man with a gun does not care how much you bench. He does not care how many chicks you pull. He doesn't care how big your bank account it. All that matters is that if he has a gun and you don't, you lose.
You're just a shill trying to change the narrative. ShareBlue is desperate. My gun goes everywhere ESPECIALLY while I'm out on a date.
U rly don't know wtf you are talking about many people cc equipment that you don't know about. How do you think they get muh statistics for you?
Ok lefty faggot. You outed yourself as a gunphobe. Go back to plebbit.
I love guns. I wouldn't pull one out like it makes me badass. I also have a sexy sportscar, that I actually don't rev at red lights. I know it's crazy.
"Trying to out alpha the dad"
Didn't read or understand the post. Only wants to push their agenda.
Take your shill account and go back to your biden love forum.
Hahaha check my post history.
Weak retort, but "cringey username" especially. Both because you don't recognize his username, and because of yours. How exactly did you pick DonJr2024?
"And I guarantee you" have never read the Declaration of Independence.
Read the 5th "He has" on the "let Facts be submitted to a candid world" list. Get it now, soyboy?
You sound Canadian. Carrying a gun everywhere is pretty normal for a lot of people. It doesn't matter where I'm going to, it matters who I might meet on the way there.
Statistically? I guess your point is that we should be like normies? Not even a tiny bit convincing. Something you might want to ponder, also stolen from 4chan:
"People who can't defend themselves physically (women and Canadians) parse information thru a consensus filter as a safety mechanism. They literally do not ask 'is this true', they ask 'will others be ok with me thinking this is true'. This makes them very malleable to brute force manufactured consensus; if every screen they look at says the same thing they will adopt that position because their brain interprets it as everyone in the tribe believing it."
The last part is literally describing why we have so many sheep like the one you're replying to.
(For those not paying attention)
You sound like a fully vaxxed and neutered faggot.
Plenty of men and woman carry daily and to most locations.
Have fun waiting for the police to peel you off the concrete after your encounter with a bunch of cultural diversity.
Wake the fuck up, this isn't 1950's America anymore. High trust society is dead and walking around like an unarmed lemming will get you victim status faster than not in many parts of the country now.
Check my posts and take a chill pill dude.
My name is from the Magna Carta.
Live in Texas... A lot of people carry and by a lot i mean A lot!
Who is this faggot?
Probably fbi fudd
Or Bill Mitchell.
It’s a green text. Wtf is wrong with you?
You are an idiot. I carry most days including at the in laws
huh? you've been infected by the lefty mind virus.
Young men are not intimidated by the gun threat anymore. I had success with a different tactic. I sternly told the boy when I first met him. “ You make daughter cry , I will make your dad cry”. He was shocked and confused. Asked “why my dad”.
Simply put. “Your dad is who you learned how to treat a lady from “. I will take it out on the source.
Small edit for the grammar complaint.
I didn't use threats. I just got the boyfriends to like me more by taking them hunting, fishing, working on a project vehicle, or out on the off-road trails. My daughter would just dump anyone who did not like me or the things I offered to do. She did end up divorced, but even I didn't see the issues coming.
This is the way. You're introducing someone into your family, you don't threaten them or bring negativity into it. You vet them and demonstrate what kind of man you want them to be.
I've walked away from every situation where a male member of a family thinks the best introduction is to threaten me, it's just weird. Long time ago, but I still cringe at the memories.
Yep. My father in law is country as fuck and hates every liberal almost as much as I do. He got me into hunting and Church. He didn’t do this with her ex because her ex was a total pussy. He didn’t threaten either— just told his daughter he was a pussy and that she could do better. Other than that he basically ignored him. Seemed to work out well
Exactly this, the idea is in the name "father" in law, you should want a good relationship with the guy who's going to parent your grandchildren.
Parent his grandchildren *
Never had to deal with it any hard ass fathers.
But I never dealt with it because all the females prior to my wife had absent fathers.
Very interesting the one woman that has a father that was relatively nice and made some effort to just speak with me and get to know me was the woman that was the most " normal" and the one that I ended up deciding to marry.
When I first met my father-in-law, he just wanted to make sure I had a job and wasnt a complete bum. We ended up bonding over his old cars. He knew he had raised his daughter to be independent and to know her worth, so he wasn't that worried about me.
My daughter is almost dating age. She knows that when she does get asked out…first date is with me. Not us, just me. Why would I let some kid near her that I haven’t spent time with?
I have three girls (not quite that age yet, thank God), and plan on doing the same. I also have three nieces who are unfortunately fatherless (two thanks to a sudden brain aneurysm, the other because her father is a cheating shitbag) who will get the same chaperoning.
Your follow-up question doesn't match up with your previous statement does it? You can spend time with him and her, surely that makes more sense?
Is your intention to intimidate and threaten the guy?
Most teenage scumbags just wouldn't show up to hang out with dad. They would move on to easier girls. It's actually a brilliant self selection process.
Back in my youth, if a girl asked me to hang out with her dad, I'd probably nope out because all I cared about back then was getting laid.
This strategy would most likely work and help weed out the boys who aren't serious.
But then again, NO boy is serious in high school / college. I would prefer my daughter to get married to someone who has his shit together.
When I went over to ask my first serious high school girlfriend out, she wasn't home and her dad put me to work hauling bags of landscaping stones. After about a half hour of carrying heavy shit, she came home and thankfully said yes. Her dad was relatively cool with me after that. He knew I wasn't a lazy POS, that I made good grades, and that I always had his daughter home before curfew.
That’s the only way and the dads responsibility to protect and weed out the horny flakey teens. Girls are way better off going direct from dad to one responsible man who dad checked out for her. And 18 is almost late for girls. They don’t need extra time to grow up into men like teenage boys do. There’s good college aged boys, it is extra challenging for them being in a sea of hos not needing to commit to get some. College used to be more like a monastery for men to stretch.
Traditions that took thousands of years to develop tossed out by boomers…
^ This. It sorts out the scum.
Don’t ever let her alone with a dude until after he actually commits 100% with his ass on the line. Hymen are real they have a purpose.
Overprotective, give her some pepperspray and stop being a faggot
red flag that this family has been brought up by Hollywood movies and tv shows and not real life.
You nailed it. That's exactly what they're doing. Not basing the relationship on genuine decency or human interaction, just trying to play the game.
80% chance she filed
He filed, but she was mutual about it. She wanted many kids and he panicked.
Did they never discuss this?
I honestly don't see how this can happen. Surprise pikachu
She was always honest about having kids, but it wasn't until she was pregnant that she shifted to wanting more than 1 or 2. Even though they resolved that after a while, he still started having real anxiety over having several kids.
He and I still hunted and fished together until we all moved from CA to FL.
I get it. Having kids can be a chore, especially if you have more than one. It's not until they reach 5-6 years old when they actually learn to play by themselves and give you a bit of breathing room.
I want to wait until my daughter is at least 7 before we think about having another one. At least then, she can help me and her mother when the baby comes.
I disagree, kids are more independent than you might think. I’ve got a 4yo, a 2yo, and an infant. I encouraged the older two to play together even when the middle one was crawling. They play well both together & apart. It’s not as hard to foster as the world tell you, and they’re only little for a few years
7 years is a big age gap. There's no way the potential future child(ren) will be friends. They'll be strangers who live under the same roof
literally the opposite. Having just one is hell.
having more than one is what makes it easy. If you only have one, of course he won't give you any breathing room. And more importantly the mother tends to hyperfocus on her only baby which makes parenting hell.
Have 2+, kids focus on each other and the mother learns that the world doesn't revolve around any one particular kid.
that's like intentionally putting your home life on Ultra-hard mode. You end up with a kid that's too old to really make a friendly connection to the younger sibling so now you have to push the kid into helping with the sibling instead of just letting their natural interest in finding playmates do the work for you.
Why so many downvotes? Shadow downvote brigade or what?
How is this a success story
He was/is a very good man, other than his fear of many kids. Not all good stories end in a perfect ending.
A good man doesn’t divorce his wife, especially when he has already had one or two kids with her.
Like Jesus guides us, I am not in a position to judge him like that.
There has to be something else. That isn't a reason to divorce lol she failed as a woman somewhere else if he filed and maybe they aren't telling you out of respect.
If you don't mind, check out my other responses, they explain, and not trying to make all the comments about my daughter
I bet once the girl see the Dad and him getting along, she will want to break up.
"Anything you do to my daughter tonight, I will do to you."
Why take the chance? That can’t be undone and consequences for her are for life. This is bad parenting that leads to divorce. We have traditions that worked.
What the fuck are you talking about? It's an old dad joke dude.
NGL. If he said that I'd assume the 'dad' was a homosexual.
When pussies need to feel like men they threaten kids being kids.
Ever see your daughter cry?
There are so many fatherless out there if you just show you are present and a decent dad you’re gonna weed out 98% of the rejects
Back when I was a bouncer, we used to get side gigs as personal security.
One time I was asked about doing a gig working for a private poker game. Sure. Watching people at the door so the high rollers don't get mugged? Okay. Then another bouncer I worked with explained, you don't want this gig, these guys all put their guns on the table when they play to shoot cheaters, if someone doesn't have a gun, they shoot the guy and take his money... the personal security is code for "buries the body." I didn't work that gig. It was a lot of money too. Didn't find out how true it ever was, but it was the one side gig where somebody said "no."
Your friend snaked an easy and profitable gig from you. If he had actually done it and buried a body he would not have told you, and they would not have hired anybody BUT him in the future. Why make extra witnesses?
And the Critical Thinker Award of the week goes to this guy!! ^^^
Why risk it, though?
Nobody commits murder and has a stranger cover it up for them for a few hundred bucks. Plus I used to be a bouncer and we turn bullshiting into fine art.
Black people shoot eachother over a popeyes order lmao
They don't give you a $20 and ask you to cover up the crime for them.
You can ask a friend to help you move
Fried chicken is like grease diamonds to blacks
Or cuz they did not get the mayo packet...
Or he just wanted to remove you as a competitor.
I heard Marsellus Wallace threw Tony Rocky Horror out a window for touching his wife’s feet
Longmont, CO by chance?
Spez: Fixed typo....
Oh man, I hope this story is real
Wast Longmont, outside of the city limits was a place for this from the mid-90s through around 2010. When Denver Players and Sugar Club got popped, things disbanded. Not sure if it popped up again after the heat died down. Those were some crazy times.
Classic act of neutrality. Place your weapons on the table and talk.
Anon did the right thing.
Hand gun wedding
I dated a girl in high school whose father was rumored to be connected in some way to the mob, and he looked the part.
He came home early in our relationship and we were kind of cuddling on the couch. I had only met him briefly once or twice. He said nothing, came into the room, sat right down next to us, lit up a cigar and changed the channel. I took the hint, got up and slid over a foot or two. He turned to his daughter like i wasnt even there and said, “hey, this kids ok, he’s smart...”.
Point fully taken.
Most boys instinctively understand the power structure, especially with a girl's father.
Vito was the one... blowing... the security guard...
"You now have my permission to date her".
Just tell the boy you're in the FBI. If they like you then they're gay and there's nothing to worry about.
Tell them you're a Bernie voter. If they don't point at you and laugh then they can't date your daughter.
Lmfao.. this is gold star stuff right here 🤣
I was thinking, "Field strip it and inspect it in front of him." as I was reading it.
But the gun is not combat ready this way.
If it's the only gun in the room they're doing it wrong.
That smirk as after reassembly and the room echoes with the slide locking into place, "Needs cleaning."
That's what the one in the ankle holster is for.
For when you're cleaning your main carry piece.
lol kinda had this happen at the office (work for one of the top 3 communications companies) Gave one of my directors a status update he didn't want to hear and to be funny he literally got in my face and without breaking eye contact drew his folding knife and locked it in place... also without breaking eye contact (and maybe not thinking) I did the same thing... second of silence and he started rolling on the floor laughing
He was actually rolling on the floor dying wasn't he
Like, a butterfly knife?
Just a regular pocket knife like every man carries
How do you open those without looking? I've got the kind with a thingy on the edge that I can feel for. Use my thumb to move it a little then flick my wrist and it's ready to roll. People think its a switchblade but it's legal
Uhh illegal switchblades?? Move to a different state..
Which state do you live in?
multi tool... I can easily open and close it one handed without looking
https://www.leatherman.com/charge-552.html note the second picture thumb hole on the left side... you can easily find that in your pocket and flip it open without looking - likewise there is a pressure plate once irs locked you can hit then close without looking all one handed
I'm impressed. I have three different brands of multi tool (I'm assuming you mean the ones with pliers etc) and even looking at them I have difficulty getting the blade out.
Bad gun safety, bad precedent, bad vibes, fuck that guy.
it's not real dude
99% of the stuff this site posts isn't real
Everything on the internet is real. Otherwise the FBI wouldn't arrest people for memes.
Silly goose, You dont need to commit crimes to be arrested , Or even thrown in to Gitmo or some unknown black-site
You just need information that will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton
You're thinking of 4chan.
That's 100 percent
Maybe you should go away then?
Nope I'll keep pointing out fake news to the haters!
But it's the internet.
I was told that everything on the internet is True....
It's from a 4chan anon. None of them have ever been on a date. This is fiction.
My daughters far too young to have to worry about dating, but my way is to teach her what a man looks like, how he behaves, and how she should expect to be treated by one.
I teach her what love is and why it’s so special. I show her daily what a man who is head over heels in love with her will behave like. She’s learning basics like how to safely handle firearms (nerf toys) and the basics of safety with them. She will know how to hunt, fish, box, sew, farm and all of the essentials.
When the day finally does come and a boy asks her out my only request will be twenty minutes before they leave I want to have a one on one sit down with this lucky fella to lay out the ground rules.
You show my daughter respect. You treat her with kindness and you protect her while she’s in your care (even though it’s likely she would be more capable of protecting him). Respect my rules and you will be welcome in this home. I’ll treat you like one of my own. If things don’t work out between y’all you be respectful about it and you go out of your way to be good to her. Lastly understand I will treat you EXACTLY how you treat her with a higher degree of intensity. If you hurt her on purpose or selfishly I’ll hurt your dad.
Welcome to the family.
but whose was bigger?
It ain’t the size that counts!
Found the guy with the Glock 43.
<Laughs in Kahr PM9>
mAkE iT SmOllEr
It counts if you value your wrist!
It sounds like the Dad and him clicked.
What's tism mean?
And dad said “Don’t pull out tonight son.”
Are those wedding bells I'm hearing?
Actually, it might be tinnitus from squeezing off too many rounds without proper hearing protection.
Is that Bollywood?
It's a funny gif I found. I try not to over think things
There must be a hidden message here
"Just wanted you to know I have a shovel and a bag of lime in my trunk"
And a .45
Wow, this created a lot of butthurt. It's a joke, dudes. I thought it was pretty funny.
Yeah, I'm surprised at all the people in here arguing over whether this was "the right move" or not. It's clearly not even a real story. Fun read though.
but what gun?
Phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.
but how many amps?
Watts divided by the volts
Oooohhhhhhh nice. Ripley approves.
If the dad critiques the gun, you win.
If I had a daughter and the dude she's dating did that he'd go up in my estimation, if only for the comedy of it.
I should think that would establish your bona fidés as not a pussy.
...he then places a condom on the table...
'tism = autism
In case you were unsure of the meaning, as I was. (ChatGPT knows all the slang).
I was dating a girl and met her father. He brings out a Winchester. And due to my lack of awareness of the situation I begin to admire the .44 Henry. He was completely caught off guard as the threat he intended went over my head as I nerded out on him over firearms. Suffice to say it didn't work out with her, but left an interesting story.
