I always give everyone a fair shot in interviews. Its a technical position and its hard to fill those positions anyway.
Got to the technical portion of the interview. I start with some easy questions, get to harder (somewhat) and according to this Troon they are like a super duper knowledgeable person.
I shit you not this person couldn't answer "What command in windows will show you the IP configuration" Couldn't answer even easy questions.
I asked about training and certifications, then I got a long tirade from the Troon how training and Certifications are for idiots and incompentant. Troon didn't realize I have like close to 24 certs in IT and this genius couldn't answer a single question remotely close.
Reading Troons resume made it sound like they were just this most awesomest person ever.. I saw one of the Jobs were with the GOV IT Services.. I am like jesus this Troon couldn't even hold a job with the GOV.
After our interview Manager and Myself were like UHM. Troon couldn't answer a single question correctly (manager sat through a lot of tech interviews so he new) attitude was Narcassistic. They insulted the interviewer. Lastly we had a lot of clients in the Oil field and Heavy industry manufacturing. Yeah right if we send this Troon out on a service call it will be the end for that Client.
