The ones that voted no aren't necessarily any better.

They drew the short straws and had to act as opposition.

She’s owned by McCarthy.

She is living proof of how political office corrupts the majority of people involved. Of course, there are those who only seek office because they are already corrupt but want the perks, power and prestige of elected office.

MTG is kind of an outlier though.

The Democrats had stripped her of all powers and kicked her off all committees. She was politically isolated, and no Republican would lift a finger to help, except Boebert and Gaetz. So she made herself an annoyance for two years by forcing these people to show up to do their jobs, which pissed off both Ds and Rs.

She had to cut a lot of deals just to get back into the legislative process, once the Republicans took the majority. Especially after being a pain in the ass for a whole term. Whether or not that ends up being to her detriment remains to be seen.

It's because she is all talk, nothing she does has any weight to it. Grifter whore.

How do you stickie your own comment?

You can't unless an admin does it, the [S] is because he's the original poster.

The American 6171 currently has the most upvotes and so is at the top (for me)

Nobody bucked anything all theater including the backroom deals including I'm sure the promise of Democratic votes to over come any Republicans who didn't vote for it. This deal will cut nothing and spend as usual. Massie would have stopped this whole thing if he voted against this getting out of committee but as usual we got screwed by our side and a Conservative Massie who in my opinion is a super weird guy.

at some point you have to come to terms with Massie being a fraud as well

I did and have he sold us out and could have stopped this deal in it's tracks and forced a new deal but not we got the let them vote on it in the full house where a deal had already been struck and passing it was always going to happen. Massie is a weirdo inbreed who screwed us again we the we will get them next time.

I live in Santos district in NY The Republican party put him up as the gay messiah to beat the gay Democrat it worked but they and I believe it was Elise Stefanik who forgot to check his backround. You need a candidate go to the local supermarket and wait till you have a local say I can't believe how expensive this chicken is and run him he will be better than any of them. Hearing and hearings but no indictment, impeachment or stopping Bidens nominees we get nothing from the Republicans.

Stopping this in committee was the only chance of that. With Dems in control of the Senate, it's a done deal now.

No one on the right "bucked" their party leader.

How do we know this?

Because they could start a process to remove this cocksucker with just one member requesting this motion.

I would say fuck them all but I will give passes to the few who never voted to confirm this piece of shit in the first place. In my view they already voted no confidence by not confirming him. It's up to the rest of these shitheads to grow a fucking spine

about 5 trillion........nat'l debt was under 1 trillion before the 1980's. Last time it was paid in full was Andrew Jackson. Then After the civil war, spanish american war, ww1, the great depression, ww2, korea, vietnam and landing on the moon we only had 1 trillion in debt.

This makes no sense. Voting no to this pile of crap debt deal is the opposite of kicking the can down the road.
