"We Do Not Support Taiwan Independence" - Tony Blinken Gives Green Light to Chicoms to Invade Taiwan (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundi...
Secretary of State Tony Blinken traveled to China this past weekend to give the green light to the communist regime to invade Taiwan.
Not really. The U.S. policy is to also say that commie China has no sovereignty over Taiwan because the sovereign Republic of China has sovereignty over Taiwan. China always uses these declarations to deceptively not have to also admit that that also means that the U.S. does not recognize China as having sovereignty over Taiwan. People are really retarded over Taiwan.
Why does Taiwan have to declare independence when it already did so from the Qing dynasty in 1911? Do we need to redeclare our independence from the UK now too?
And Raytheon, Lockheed-Martin and All of the Military Industrial Complex Will Sell to Both Sides and Make an Obscene EVIL Fortune.
Hard to imagine an obscene fortune meaning much in a nuclear holocaust, if anything the finger would be pointed at you.
The Globalist Parasites have put a YUGE amount of Faith in their Hidden Bunkers and Islands. Like ALL Cockroaches, they think they will "survive" and dominate their New Utopia of Death and Ashes. That's on them. <shrug>
They will kill each other over jealousy, sex, scandals and Xanax while they're in those bunkers and will most likely never make it out
lets also remember the fact that half of them don't breed.
Boom! So, Seriously Correct. All those Giant Egos now crammed into small spaces, with no where to go. I'd pay a Dollar to see that. ;)
Stop noticing things
That's what we should do... every 7/4 have big parties and tell the Limeys "fuck you! We declare our independence from you and your hegemony!!!!
We should do it on July 5th for two days off of work instead of just one!
? You said “Not really.”
“Not really” what? As in “Blinken didn’t say this”? Because isn’t that what this post about?
This post is not about what US policy is towards China and Taiwan — it’s about what Blinken said.
The problem is that the US is speaking out of both sides of their mouth. They don’t support Taiwan’s independence from China, but they don’t support China’s claim to it, either. One thing that is sure to lead to major wars is ambiguity. Look what happened when Saddam said he was going to invade Kuwait, or when they knew Putin was going to invade Ukraine. Same thing. We didn’t set a firm policy or state a solid position until after it happened. One could argue that the big players in the military industrial complex (many of which staff key government positions involving US geo-political strategy) are setting the table for war by doing this
My understanding is the US more or less gave Saddam the greenlight. Something about Arabs taking care of Arab problems.
God save the Queen, man.
After listening to his statement I'm still confused. We don't support their independence bc its "one china" but also mainland china has no right to invade taiwan because they deserve to have their own political system which we will defend if needed from the invasion that beijing can't do anyway since taiwan is part of one china anyway. or something.
given brandon's "god save the queen" remark recently, a redeclaration of our supposed independence would make me feel a smidge better...
Why can't we develop our own processors and chips in the US?
We know how to make them. We don't pay people 3 cents an hour here, so it's more expensive to make them here.
The chip making factories are mostly automated and precision robot machines.
It's all the other stuff that goes with chip making that requires cheap labor
Expect Elon soon to get into making them. Tesla Cars, and Robots will need them, along with SpaceX, and NeuraLink. If Taiwan begins getting squeezed or taken by China, Musk will see it coming, and likely build another mega factory, and bring in Taiwanese Tech refugees. However, this will take a bit to get up and going, and this won't stop the major issue it will have for the rest of the worlds need for Semiconductors. Just invest in Elon if China does invade, because a chip shortage will become a thing, and not temporarily, long term, and Elon will do something in order for his businesses to continue.
Plus China make Chips becomes a serious spy and control issue. What they could do with those chips could be a back door for any tech they are implemented into. China taking over Taiwan gives them power over the entire world, not just for supply and demand in their court, but what those chips will contain on them when they are sold.
Intel makes chips in America. They are twice the size of NVDA and AMD, yet look at where all of the investment is going. Very strange to me they are trying to build up NVDA over making Intel better.
About to boom... Dynamite goes boom... Think of the Tzar Bomb!
They are going thru with the AI stuff and apparently adjusted their guidance way up, causing huge investment to pour in. Intel on the other hand didn't even break even a Q ago, but seems hopefully they turned it around. The size in companies is incredible though when you see the #s. NVDA has an outrageous PE of 222 while intels is 0 bascially now.
Not great at binary either.
This. Capitalism without Patriotism is Treason. They sold us to the commies to make a cheap buck.
That's where government comes in. You have to protect your domestic industry through tariffs. China subsidizes goods to sell them below cost for years, collapses their competitors and then increases prices. Our government does nothing because they're being paid off.
Remember the Wright Brothers? They offered their planes to the US FIRST! They wanted the US to have them before anyone else.
That's a great example of Patriotism & Capitalism
Indeed. Patriotism + Capitalism is why America got so wealthy. Then commie parasites snuck in and sold our wealth to the highest bidder like they said they would.
Big big big chip plant going up near Columbus
Also Intel has a Huge chip plant in Chandler AZ, (a suburb of Phoenix).
Also Apple is moving out of China to protect it's IP.
With the level of automation involved in new fabs, this something I have been expecting for several years. Even China can't compete with robots on cost of labor.
Lots of water required.
We are currently moving in that direction.
We are lazy.
Open borders for Israel, Tony! Say the line!
Oh, the Gateway Pundit, getting it wrong yet again. Yet they still get linked here.
Care to elaborate on what they got wrong?
This is very basic stuff. While the US recognizes China's de jure claim to Taiwan, we de facto support providing defense to Taiwan (because it's de facto independent and an important ally) in the case of Chinese aggression. How you don't know this is wild.
How you imply that believing the pedophile king regime has no values and will sell out any position is “wild” is wild and tone deaf.
Like, read the room dude — are you claiming the pedophile king biden regime has values or principles it holds dear? Get outta here.
And the post is about what Blinken said, not your theories about what the pedophile king regimes policy is.
Blinken said the US doesn’t support Taiwan independence, which means the US is fine with Taiwan being … dependent …. On whom?
Anyway, good talk genius.
It’s a Democrat propaganda account. They’re rampant here now.
I've been active since the days of r/MrTrump... I dunk on Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians (though I am a right-libertarian), any political stance under God's great yellow sun when I think it's called for.
Cool story, eventually mods will ban your shit takes.
That one is a shill for sure, he shills for Ukraine and our globalist enemies, but the mods are crooked, so they're not going to ban him.
If mods are faggots then maybe lol
I block that garbage site in piehole, just incase I accidently click a link of theirs without realizing it.
Cool story.
Cool story Democrat propaganda scum
Critical thinking isn't your strong suit is it...
Ok Democrat propaganda scum
Ex bernie bro huh?
Huh?
Fuck this cotdam illegitimate administration.
Taiwan and Israel are great countries that are not entitled to shield themselves with the lives of American citizens. We could welcome Taiwanese refugees (they're incredibly productive), but we cannot protect them forever. When will you people stop selling out America to protect foreigners? It's not noble; it's stupid.
AMERICA FIRST. No exceptions.
Then why do we support Ukrainian independence?
In order to keep Russia off balance. It is just another chapter of the Great Game that has been played since .... fuck ... the time of the Mongols probably.
China is our enemy and needs put off balance, while Russia is not our problem and I could care less wether they are on balance.
Actually all of this Ukrain cocksucking makes me want to support Russia. They can have the pedophile organ harvesters.
Ahh, the satanic star people.
You should educate yourself on the Great Game and the realities of geo politics.
And why do you think the people in our government who provoked that war and continue to sustain it are not our enemies?
Understand this: to them, the great powers, this is a game to be played out in marble halls and plush private clubs. They don't pay any real price for losing, that is for the E-6 and below crowd. And they will continue to play the Great Game forever; sides will change and alliances will shift but neither success nor failure is permanent. This is how they think and until you can think like them, you will remain their pawn.
Real American Patriots believe in SELF-DETERMINATION, like in 1776!
The people of Crimea, Taiwan, Tibet, Kashmir, etc are not serfs to be traded by empires. Let them vote!
it's been taken over by bots and automated post manipulation, the real people are too unobservant to notice. Also, back on topic, this isn't really what Blinken said in the whole context. In context, he was saying we aren't actively supporting their independence but that doesn't mean we are actively supporting chyna rule. It was more like we aren't stating an active position for nor against chyna, which is just a coward's way of playing both sides.
One thing I’ve noticed is “people” are submitting a lot of stuff that they should know has already been top posts, often even while they’re still stickied.
So, we gave them $619m worth of weapons for "not our policy"?
https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/taiwan-reports-21-chinese-air-force-planes-entered-its-air-defence-zone-2023-03-02/
Theyre doing that to bait a Chinese invasion so they can then draft the few white men who are still able to fight back to go die in China.
I support independence for any people who desire it.
Taiwan needs to be all in on their independence and openly swear an oath to destroy all of their tech industry if China invades. Watch not only China back off, but the rest of the world do something to stand together with them. Taiwan's chip industry is insanely important to the world. Most of the worlds semiconductors are manufactured there. If Taiwan destroyed all of their tech industry in a scorched Earth defense scenario, it would bring the world to a fucking halt. They have the power if they are dedicated to keeping themselves independent. This also means purging Taiwan of any Pro China people, and exiling them, or if they are seen as having too much inside information, executing them. You are either with us, or you are fucking dead.
Taiwan has no other choice at this point from what I see. China has bought out too many world Leaders and Officials. They want to copy China's Governing.
But the CHIPS deal will keep all our technology safe, right?
I feel bad for Taiwan, but it's nothing to do with the west.
China invested well. By purchasing Pedo Joe and his derelict son, they assured themselves a cakewalk to enslave Taiwan.
Good. Taiwan is the Ukraine of Southeast Asia. Biolabs, money laundering, child trafficking, all the good stuff.
The water is most calm in July, so I am told. We may be weeks away from China invading Taiwan. Will WW3 commence? I suspect we would be dragged in as allies jump to aid Taiwan.
This isn't even a matter of opinion: Taiwan has always been independent because the nation was literally founded by Chinese refugees who fled the mainland when the commies won the civil war; technically, they're the remnants of the legitimate government of China, and the CCP are simply usurpers/squatters. The CCP wants Taiwan for only one real reason: their egos won't allow them to accept that they're illegitimate, and so long as Taiwan isn't in their domain, they'll always feel inadequate; talk about conquering them has gone on for as long as Taiwan's been a nation.
Now, US capitulation to CCP interests aside, the odds that they could take Taiwan in any meaningful way is asinine: they're an island nation that's been preparing for a war with China for generations, and the Taiwanese people are vehemently against any vassalization by the CCP, so every man, woman, and child on that island would fight to the death to repel them.
China's army is basically conscripts: part of a million superfluous men that will never have families because the one-child policy ensured that China would have the most lop-sided population in the world; they don't want to fight and die to take Taiwan, which means their so-called army would probably cut and run the moment an opportunity presented itself. The assault on the island would have to be amphibious because there's no land access, so think of the beaches of Normandy, but x10 with modern tech. China would lose a considerable amount of their forces before they even made landfall, and assuming they even made it to land they would be facing a well armed and well trained army that hates their guts, not some rag tags like in Ukraine.
Even if we assume the CCP victory is total, it's still a catastrophic loss for them, because based on their shitty demographics, China would've already have lost too many workers in the process. Also, they're too inept to operate the factories that make Taiwan a worthy asset, and they'd piss off the entire world by taking it, which means that nobody would do business with them, same as nobody does business with Russia now. For China, that's a death sentence, because China is fatally dependent on foreign trade for energy and food; sanctions and/or an embargo would see half their population die of famine within a year.
So yeah, if the voices in Xi Jinping's head tell him to take the island, he can certainly try, but he would have to break his military against it's shores to have it, and even if he could have it, his military would never recover from it, and he'd have made his nation a pariah state that nobody would do business with. China's history is replete with stories about r*tarded leaders who threw away endless blood and treasure on stupid, short-sighted ideas, and Xi is clearly no different. People will be talking about his suicidal invasion like they talk about Cao Cao's naive belief that flaming arrows wouldn't be effective against a docked fleet full of wooden ships tied to wooden piers.
China won't invade Taiwan unless we say they're independent and we want them to become so. China already controls Taiwan for all intents and purposes.
Nahh, Taiwan is the supreme silicon chip maker, has huge investments in China and makes Apple products(foxcon) among other things.
Business as usual.
It's clear as a bell these reprehensible traitor globalist bankers and bureaucrats just ceded global superpower status to China in the last 7 days. All the typical villains and billionaires took trips over there. Bill Gates, JP Morgan's CEO Jaimie Dimon, and even Elon.
And of course Blinken was treated with the respect of a 60 year old whore while he was over there. Probably the most pathetic example of U.S. diplomacy in our entire history.
This brigade of bolshevik buffoons is going to get us all killed.
How much did Joe get from commie China?
Speak for yourself, I do
The empire doesn't war with china. Just as with Russia and Ukraine they want war between China and Taiwan. For the empire it is important that other emerging empires never get a chance and are entangled in long wars that have a very high political cost. Btw, the constitution of Taiwan says that they belong to China.
The U.S. will push Taiwan to declare independence while they know that China has a law that requires them to invade Taiwan as soon as this happens. Then every idiot on twitter and in congress will have Taiwan flags and a new Selensky will be created.
Not our country, not our problem. We have more important things to deal with on our own continent.
It sucks to have to put your oxygen mask on before you put the kid's mask on, but if you don't focus on yourself first surely you'll both die.
It doesn't matter. Nobody in the US is interested in fighting the Chinese on behalf of Joe Biden anyways.
Soulless NPC
This is why China paid so much to have the election stolen. Is China’s big problem is that the main infrastructure is semiconductor plants, and China has to find a way to take over Taiwan and not interrupt the flow of money, or else the war would bankrupt them. Knowing these anuses in the executive branch, we will probably invade Taiwan on China’s behalf.
Look for news of Taiwan committing atrocities against China to begin surfacing momentarily.
Yes, yes, any day now. Be very scared!!!
sTFU Blinken you POS. I absolutely support Taiwan!!!
Well we did publicly say that if China takes Taiwan, we will simply blow up all of the chip manufacturing facilities rendering the acquisition worthless. Yes, this is a terrible idea, much like blowing up the Nordstream pipeline was a terrible idea. I don't think that stopped the regime from blowing it up though.
