hes also a hindu..ehuch fine..anyone can be anyreligion...but..Hindus believe in the Caste system. the Caste system is diametrically opposed to the basis of individual freedom regardless of birth or family name. A lerson who belueves in castes should NEVER hold political iffice in the US..and in days past would be an automatic dusqualification.
vivek would literally not be able to honestly swear an oath to constitution AND retain Hindu religion with caste system. he hasnt renounced his religion....or caste system...so...clearly..hes ready and willing to subvert his oath and yadda yadda.
But he also went to Jesuit school in America and had a very Christian music instructor. He has admitted his Hindu tradition, yet not sure what he believes deep in his heart, except he did become a wealthy man here in USA.
its nice that he had two christian school teachers at some point...but..they werent teaching christianity to him..nor did he convert to christianity, nor denounce the evil caste system.
most of us have had several teachers every year in school and its possible or even likely we have had teachers who were of a different religion. that doesnt mean we're now mormon, buddha, born again, wiccan, protestant, muslim, catholics just because they taught us a semester of general education in school.
there are no Hindu secondary schools or Ivy League colleges...so...being exposed to teachers who have alt rwligion doesnt count for much
