I heard the local news say about Trump's grand juries "if the government wants to prosecute someone that important, as a juror, you don't get in the way of that."
The whole point of a jury of your peers is for all of you to collectively tell the govt to piss off, but decades of fear and intimidation disguised as entertainment and public relations have kept that from the minds of the public.
Or, like in the Floyd kangaroo court trial, just send your communist "journalists" to the juror busses in the desperate attempt to dox them for mafia-style blackmail. Especially in a public trial with a raging feral mass of "peaceful protestors" being egged on by the same government clutching pearls over "incitement" on 1/6
Grand Juries are only shown one side. They are there to determine if there is enough evidence to bring a trial. But they aren't told the law. They only hear the DA's side of things.
The joke has always been you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. While it may seem like a big deal to normies, legal insiders know that a grand jury indictment is below the level of a judge reviewing a case like some other states do.
Something designed to uphold fairness in the process is copy, pasted and edited to instead force guilt onto anyone someone with enough money and/or power decides they don't like. What a world.
Took the words right out of my mouth. The upside is that globalist RINOs we have in Texas have GOT TO GO and they would have exposed themselves with a vote for impeachment.
We have got to spread the message that any vote for impeachment is essentially death for your career in the Texas Legislature.
There was zero evidence Trump acted corruptly when he tried to investigate Biden’s bribery scheme with Ukraine during his first impeachment trial. Every single Democrat and one RINO still voted to convict.
Despite the GOP majority in Texas I have to ask if it would be any different with a bunch of RINOs jumping in to vote with the Dems like in Trump’s second impeachment (even though not enough jumped in to convict).
You have a point. Especially when you watch the vast majority of Hollywood telling us to vote for Biden who is prosecuting Trump because Trump tried to prosecute pedo rings.
More than butthurt, methinks. I would say there is a very real risk of election fraud and bribery from big pharm being uncovered if Paxton kept up his digging.
This. One of the mutineer weasels has had a lawyer representing him since this started-three years. He has not gotten a single bill from that lawyer. That lawyer was a part of the W administration and has continued to work in Bush circles. Three years and no bill from a lawyer. Perfectly normal.
That's not doing it justice. There has been plenty of evidence... that the corrupt bureaucrats loyal to the Bush faggots were fabricating evidence, usurping Paxton's office, and staging a coup.
Plenty of evidence that election rules were broken. And that's all you need to prove. Trump's take on this kinda pisses me off.
It's like students kicked out their exam proctor at a chemistry final - and they all got 100. You can't prove their is cheating - but you don't need to. You just prove they broke the damn rules. And when that happens you assume there is cheating.
I mean jesus christ. Trump just goes on about Fraud - and since it was never investigated the media just parrots out "No evidence of fraud" Well of course - the people cheating the elections are going to look for evidence of their own fraud!
But they did violate the rules - so you go after that! Dumb.
We don't hear an election challenge court case as required by law.
We send election observers home.
The ballot boxes hidden under tables, that were pulled out after eleciton observers were sent home is not evidence.
Duplicate ballot scans is not evidnece.
Poster boards covering windows, and evicting election observers is not evidence.
MAssive 4am ballot dumps all for joe biden is not evidnece.
It's like .... what kind of evidence do you need? It's the same kind of shit as Joe Biden openly bragging about withholding $1billion, unless the prosecutor is fired who was looking into the company his son was working for in Ukraine.
You're an idiot. I'm saying people here frequently say "there's no evidence that evidence doesn't exist" in cases where no direct evidence of fraud can be found. It's a stupid position to take.
I've been watching the trial and the defense has done a good job taking apart each witness. Based on the votes to dismiss, they only need 2-4 additional votes to get Paxton back to work. I'm not sure based on the dearth of evidence they have the plausible deniability to oust Paxton. I recommend watching the youtube stream and making the chat MAGA if you catch it live.
The 'jury' is the TX senate and the 'judge' isn't even a real judge. Both prosecution and defense have been pulling moves that would never be allowed in a court of law and every time there's an objection the judge seems to do a coin toss in his mind whether to sustain it or overrule. Each of the 4 'witnesses' have had contradicting stories that point less and less towards committed crimes and more and more towards an inter-office conspiracy. The senators on the jury will answer to their voters so it's safe to their decision is already determined whether they're red or blue districts and the trial itself is just for show. I'm guessing they'll acquit because any wrongdoing Paxton is guilty of is everyday stuff all those senators do so it would be safer for them to not open themselves up to this in the future as a precedent.
It's the fucking "Red" district RINO's who started this bullshit impeachment process in the FIRST place. It's never about the voters, it's about how tightly the Deep State has on their grip of their fucking tiny balls as to how they will vote. Pathetic!!
Well I wouldn't say that, we've seen evidence of offences conducted by the whistleblowers on Day 1 and 3 :D - Witness 2 wasn't a dumbass, and Old Texas ranger just shows himself as bias; so those two are alright.
Marxism: an idiotic political ideology that has never worked as described and so convincing that it needs to be forced on those "oppressed" citizens by the end of the barrel of a rifle.
Conviction nonetheless.
I heard the local news say about Trump's grand juries "if the government wants to prosecute someone that important, as a juror, you don't get in the way of that."
will the jurors feel like the gov't will ding their social credit scores for not giving the prosecutors the verdict they're fishing for?
The whole point of a jury of your peers is for all of you to collectively tell the govt to piss off, but decades of fear and intimidation disguised as entertainment and public relations have kept that from the minds of the public.

So true. And especially worse if you can cherry pick a jury of political zealots to push forward the ridiculous charges instead of doing what is fair.
Something designed to uphold fairness in the process is copy, pasted and edited to instead force guilt onto anyone someone with enough money and/or power decides they don't like. What a world.
I hate it
He went up against the Bush GOP establishment and soundly defeated it. Now the vipers are biting back.
It's a total crock and it's exposing the hypocrisy of the GOP "leadership" in Texas. They do not have our best interests at heart.
Took the words right out of my mouth. The upside is that globalist RINOs we have in Texas have GOT TO GO and they would have exposed themselves with a vote for impeachment.
We have got to spread the message that any vote for impeachment is essentially death for your career in the Texas Legislature.
BINGO. My rep voted for impeachment and I can't wait to help campaign for the person that primaries his sorry ass!
This is impeachment. There’s no conviction yet
Why wouldn’t the criminals vote to prosecute their accusers?
You have a point. Especially when you watch the vast majority of Hollywood telling us to vote for Biden who is prosecuting Trump because Trump tried to prosecute pedo rings.
That's a really good question. I hope a political science student writes a good dissertation on this and gets back to us.
it’s amazing to me so many in dc are willing to cover for Biden for free.
At some point even a demon gets passed off at The lack of getting a cut
If they don't, their crimes will be exposed. Look at how quickly the media turned on Elon when all he did was buy their biggest propaganda website.
The Bush family is behind all this bullshit, bc little puss and nephew got his ass whipped in last election. Globalist faggots can eat shit
More than butthurt, methinks. I would say there is a very real risk of election fraud and bribery from big pharm being uncovered if Paxton kept up his digging.

Not only Can they, consuming all types of human effluvia is kindof their thing.
Paxton 2028!
But did he prove his innocence? If not -> guilty. That's how it works in clown court
I could be wrong, but i think a pattern might be forming…
Very similar to Trump
That's not doing it justice. There has been plenty of evidence... that the corrupt bureaucrats loyal to the Bush faggots were fabricating evidence, usurping Paxton's office, and staging a coup.
It seems that even thinking that federal authorities might be guilty of wrong doing is now a crime.
But it’s someone uni party hate so the “there’s no evidence that there is no evidence somewhere” narrative applies here
To be fair I've heard people here say the same about evidence of election fraud.
Plenty of evidence that election rules were broken. And that's all you need to prove. Trump's take on this kinda pisses me off.

Ok bud
Should counter sue for wasting taxpayers money, time, and attempted corruption

Evidence is not necessary when RINO's are already being blackmailed through Kompromat and will vote to convict regardless.
Final Day: Guilty anyway because the law doesn't fucking matter
Forgot evidence of perjury by prosecutors witnesses
The process is the punishment.
The mainstream news articles are all running headlines that "Ken Paxton kept a blacklist of news reporters". Oh my gosh! The humanity.
They literally have nothing better to run that is how much of a shame this is.
Day 5: No evidence of any defenses.
The 'jury' is the TX senate and the 'judge' isn't even a real judge. Both prosecution and defense have been pulling moves that would never be allowed in a court of law and every time there's an objection the judge seems to do a coin toss in his mind whether to sustain it or overrule. Case dismissed
Hopefully there isn't a false conviction like a fake election
Day 5: death sentence
Well I wouldn't say that, we've seen evidence of offences conducted by the whistleblowers on Day 1 and 3 :D - Witness 2 wasn't a dumbass, and Old Texas ranger just shows himself as bias; so those two are alright.
This leaves out the daily dose of hurt feelings from minions, and all the Assistant AG Vindman moments.

We don't have any evidence but reported him based on good faith... Ayyy lmao.
I have a shred of faith left in Texas, we only need 2 more TX senators to find their balls.
Marxism: an idiotic political ideology that has never worked as described and so convincing that it needs to be forced on those "oppressed" citizens by the end of the barrel of a rifle.
Just like the Trump 'peachments.

Incorrect, there's plenty of evidence of offenses. Just none by Ken Paxton. I'm pretty certain what everyone else was doing is a criminal conspiracy.
The local news still reports that he's guilty.
It's a trial in name only. This is a political process, not a judicial/legal one. Guilt doesn't rely on evidence of wrongdoing.
The process is the punishment.
But it's the seriousness of the allegations! Haha, where we heard that before.
