That really is one of the most condensed commentaries on our present society, isn't it?

A society so large and bloated, that we can't even pave our streets any longer, and when someone goes and does something about it, he's considered a criminal because he stepped on administrative peoples' toes.

Not sure if this is even real, it's been floating around the internet forever. But regardless, it still encapsulates what our civilization has devolved into.

There's a pretty good documentary that's been around for awhile now, that speaks of "The Managerial Elite".

I was turned onto it a couple of years ago, and since opening my eyes to what the real problems with our society are, it made SO MUCH SENSE.

All of our problems, literally all of them, can be traced back to this phenomenon of a managerial class.

Obviously, and it should go without saying - but there are plenty of "AcTSHUaLLy" people here - there are additional things at play, many of which have been going on for a very, very long time in our nation - such as the creeping of marxism and post-modernist views etc.

But if you were to really condense it down to what is actually causing us the most problems, in day to day operations, just regular plain ole' society, it can be boiled down to the managerial class.

When you hear people say things like "these people' or refer to the infamous THEY, referring to some nebulous group of nerdogooders, people are actually talking about the managerial class.

They're a very specific group within society, who day to day cause tehse fucking problems. They're a useless group of people who are incapable of creating anything, incapable of contributing anything, yet somehow, they've managed to find themselves at the lower and middle rungs of power and authority in our society, and they have clamped on like fucking leeches.

If that OP post were true, and some guy is wanted by local authorities for fillign in a pot hole, you can rest assured, the managerial class are involved.

Here's the original one I was talking about:

Sam Francis also is the originator of the term anarcho-tyranny, which is arguably the system of government we are seeing today.

Some definitions:

Anarcho-tyranny is a concept, where the state is argued to be more interested in controlling citizens so that they do not oppose the managerial class (tyranny) rather than controlling real criminals (causing anarchy). Laws are argued to be enforced only selectively, depending on what is perceived to be beneficial for the ruling elite.

Anarcho-tyranny - a system of government that fails to enforce or adjudicate protection to its citizens while simultaneously persecuting innocent conduct

It probably gets discussed in your video, but thought I'd put this out there as it is an important concept.

Anarcho-tyranny is a neccessary stepping stone for the transition from a mostly free or semi free society toward an authoritarian society.

Basically all communist movements in history have followed this recipe.

Create chaos and then restore "order" from that chaos.

Indeed it has.

Evil has always existed. There will always be people seeking to control and exploit others.

It's a never ending battle, and that's why complacency is so dangerous. Best case scenario, you get fat and out of shape and pull a hammy getting off the couch. Worst case scenario...well we're seeing it....

"Anarcho-Tyranny" is a retarded misleading term. There's nothing at all related to anarchism in what is described, it is simply tyranny.

A more legit definition of "anarcho tyranny" might be something like "anarchists who are really just a bunch of authoritarians."

Spot on. And, they’re pissed at the guy for filling the hole because their whole grift is collecting taxes continually, so they can “solve” the “problem” at a much later date. The longer they take to fill it, all the more long drawn out reason to keep collecting the taxes.

permalink parent save report block reply

Collecting taxes to pay companies that are in on the racket, the people who fix the roads charge way more than is neccessary while officials get their palms greased in an endless circle jerk of robbing the taxpayer.

If one guy can fix the hole with a bit of cement cheap enough to do it out of his own pocket from frustration, that should give everyone an idea of how cheap it should actually be.

▲ 3 ▼
– CAPTAIN_TENDY_PLATE2 3 points 78 days ago +3 / -0

I've said before that most day to day operations that we're supposedly paying taxes for, could be done on a beer budget by a couple of randos.

Potholes in the road? Couple bags of cold-patch and an hour of some guys time for basic labor. Boom, $30 bucks cost.

Instead, we have to go through this entire convoluted system where we have to involve engineers, insurance people, administrators, human resources people, contractors, bid processes, etc., and balloon that cost up to $60k so that we can justify why those people even have jobs.

Most jobs that are even left in this nation now, provide no real value. The overwhelming majority of them, IMHO, are baby sitting adults and giving them some way to collect money other than sitting on their ass at home.

Govt jobs for sure are that way.

Beyond that, it also goes to the theory that the vast majority of people get promoted until they reach incompetency. It takes a special person who can put aside any desire for advancement and realize that they are in a position where their abilities can be best put to use. So instead, you get people who keep pushing for the best job with the best pay and eventually they get to a point where they aren't so good. The problem is that the person above them is in the same position and no one wants to admit the person they just promoted isn't such a good fit. So you get middle management filled with a bunch of company yes men who keep the machine going because the machine is what's giving them their lifestyle.

Even when I was 20 I knew I’d rather make less money, but enjoy what I do.

I worked in a family owned music shop; selling and fixing guitars. After a year the son wanted to make me a manager and I said no.

I saw he spent all day ordering shit, dealing with problem customers and he was miserable. And when he’d try to make a sale he was the pushiest dude ever.

I’d preferred to chat no stress to customers and then spend the other half of my day wrenching on guitars. He was shocked I didn’t want a promotion lol

A very similar story played out in Jackson, Mississippi several years ago. Last time I visited, cops weren’t needed to enforce speed limits because of how plentiful and deep the potholes were. A resident got fed up, broke into the public works supply yard and stole a bunch of materials he then used to fill several of the worst potholes. By so visibly showing the state had all the resources available they needed to do this work, he embarrassed them greatly, and for doing so they unleashed the full power of their police goons to hunt him down and charge him. He became a local hero and therefore an enemy of the state.

Just earlier this year a lady in my city had been complaining about potholes on her front street for months. She ended up planting flowers in the pot holes and the city came to fill them the next day. It started to make the news and people saw her as a hero. City officials claimed the timing of it was coincidental, and in the same breath urged citizens not to plant flowers in their potholes.

Fwiw this is the kind of definition of anarchism leftists commonly tout. As in “anarchism” = “getting things done in local communities without relying on government involvement or without accidentally reinventing the issue of government”.

Saying it out loud not to stir trouble but to find ways to depolarize issues that matter like broken infrastructure.

10 years ago I needed a 9 to 5 so I could be home in the evening to take care of my wife who was afflicted with early onset Alzheimer's. I took a job at an insurance company call center. I'm not a computer person and initially was intimidated by the mishmash of 5 or 6 programs tied together on my two computer screens. I handled inbound calls and processed information back and forth with insurance agents while talking on the phone. I became proficient at facilitating the agents' clients applications through the system. So much so that my employee of the month awards were plastered all around our office. Agents would hang up on other call reps until they got me to answer the phone call from the que. I was on a "team" with 15 women and one femboy. Our "Team lead" was a useless, fat, ugly, divorcee, who hated men and insurance agents in particular. Every idea or process that I had tried to improve she squashed. So, I took to bypassing her and sending them straight to her boss who implemented probably 50% of my ideas. Which of course caused my boss to hate me. One day while attempting to escalate a problem to her, I finally snapped. I stood up and said this guy has been trying to resolve this problem for 17 phone calls to us (I could see the history on my screen). All you have to do is pick up the phone and push a button to waive the stupid requirement! The underwriters have noted the file for you to waive it for a week. JUST DO YOUR JOB, For once! Needless to say I was fired. But not before she walked over to my desk and said, "You have been undermining her authority for 2 years NOW I GOT YOU" That useless bitch was a pothole in the road of efficiency. A typical example of a middle manager that fills a square on an organizational chart that could easily just be eliminated

They’re upset because one man did it for less money, in less time, and without an entire team of supervisors. If true conservatives led this country, we’d have flying cars by now instead debating if a guy in a dress is a girl.

I have a pothole outside my street that's so big I always have to avoid it else if I hit it I get a huge jolt... Tempted to get a bag of asphalt and a hand compression tool and fill it in myself...

Won't spend money or time filling the hole.

Will spend money and time trying to attack the person who filled the hole on his own dime.

Without government, who will pave the roads?!

...

No really, who? They need to be apprehended and properly charged.

It reminds me of a story from Toronto where a guy spent $550 building stairs at a park (after the city was too slow to build one). The city tore down his stairs then spent $65,000 to build their own. https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/toronto-man-builds-park-stairs-for-550-irking-city-after-65-000-estimate-1.3510237

They estimated it would be 65k to 150k but ended up spending only 10k after this guy exposed them. Someone lost out on a lot of graft but ontarios all about second chances for corruption.

They are kontrol freaks

They want to make sure that the community knows that "WE" the plebs, proles and hois polloi cannot do anything except that which the crown / government has sanctioned

Like an abusive helicopter parent hovering around and angrily saying, "don't do this" "don't do that" "you're doing it wrong" "why can't you do anything right" "here just let me do it"

When you DO take action into your own hands they become INSANELY

  • Angry
  • Jealous (because you're doing it shows THEIR defects...defects in THEIR system)
  • Anti-competitive (instead of competitive....scramblling to take over the fix, for example, or coordinating with the corrective community...no they shut down the fix; they UNDO the fix)
  • Subversive to those taking action into their hands
  • Abusive, Dictatorial, Totalitarian

One of the main things government is supposed to do is build and maintain the roads, yet these grifting clowns won't even do that.

The roads in southeastern VA and DFW are horrible, full of potholes, pits, and dips from the underlying dirt sinking.

I'm sure the police there have lots of real crimes they should be solving, but no, they're after this person.

So evil. Right up there along with British citizens who criticize the government’s immigration policies, or misgender people
