As homicides dramatically increase across the nation, a question has emerged as to why Baltimore City is an exception. What are we doing right in Baltimore that other places are not doing? 7:06 AM · Jun 28, 2021
$2200 worth of lawnmower, probably just below $2000 considering all the parts they forgot to steal, that's under $1000 per person, hence not theft by Commiefornia law. 🤡🤡🤡
Some are. Most have destroyed their heritage by miscegenation with natives.
“ “We have broken faith with our God and have married foreign women from the peoples of the land, but even now there is hope for Israel in spite of this.
Therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.”
Nope, it'll get sold to some Beaner who has big Yards to cut for like $1000.00 Dollars, and then that 1000 gets turned into Weed in bulk, which gets sold in little packages for $20,00 Dollars, and when it all gets sold, they'll take that Money and but Pure cocaine, and make Rocks, and then sell those Rocks for More, and then buy the crap for 8-balls, and..................................
Or maybe they just needed a lawn Mower to Mow their First Huge Lawn.....
One of my buddies used to work nights at a warehouse. They'd get some crackie coming around every night asking ppl if they want to buy something.
One night one of the guys says yea I need a John Deere riding lawnmower. Next night they're all sitting around and hear brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's the crackie riding a brand new John Deere riding lawnmower to the warehouse. He gave him $300 for it
Because the bag and all that bullshit probably costs 600-700 bucks if you are buying it piece meal.... The whole mower costs 2,200....
You can't mow without it unless you are farm mowing, in which case you would want a zero turn not that fucking piece of shit.
You think those tweakers are gonna open a law business? Nobody is gonna buy the thing missing 600-700 worth of shit unless you give it away for a few hundred bucks
You can't mow without it unless you are farm mowing
There's an absolute ton of people mowing in rural areas, on an acre or maybe two without a bag on the backs of these things, man. You definitely don't need the bag. You're not going to get a pretty golf course cut, but it will for sure mow your lawn. People will for sure pay a decent amount of money for a brand new looking mower on craigslist or marketplace. I'm sure the thieves will be stoked about their profit margins when they paid zero.
Maybe I’m doin it wrong but I never bag, it’s too annoying to have to empty multiple times throughout, I just use the mulching blade and I must say my lawn looks great this year. It rivals some of my neighbors and I’m the only guy on my street that doesn’t hire a professional lawn care company. I just spread turf builder twice a year, water and cut, and I haven’t even watered in over a month because we’ve had plenty of rain this year. You’re right, it’s no golf course, but it’s satisfying to look at once I’m done.
I bought a Honda mower with mulching option 15 years ago but never used it - always used a bag 'cause I thought the "mulch" would make a mess. I'm getting old & dumping the bag is getting too hard for me, so I decided to use the mulch setting. Holy cow! That works great. You can't see any leftover grass nor leaves, & when the blade is nice & sharp, it looks sooo good. My lawn has never been so green & dense & good looking. I feel dumb for never trying it before.
Nice! Yeah mines a Honda too about 4 years old, mulching blade works great and I’m no expert but I’ve heard others say that the mulched up dead grass helps to fertilize the lawn. Best of luck with your lawn, it’s such a good feeling to look out over your freshly cut green lawn!
Decent riding mowers have been near $2k for a long while. I think I spent $1800 pre tax on my 46” cub in 2017. It’s time for new tires and the belt slipped for the first time the other day, but aside from a warranty replacement for a seized starter it’s been nothing but regular maintenance.
Prior I was finding used mowers for $350 or so. Some did well and others didn’t. But if you go this route you really need two mowers to cover for lack of reliability. Grass keeps growing even when the mower is broke.
At this point the Cub has an annualized cost almost what I was seeing with cheapo mowers and it’s got many more years to go. Well worth the investment.
I had one of them, too. It was pretty solid. I had to adjust the valves when I got it. But once it got to be a yearly job I sold it. A full rebuild is way beyond my skill level and I didn’t have a garage to do it, anyway. Better to trade up.
We had a 1978 mower from either Craftsman or Sears (forget which brand). It FINALLY conked out on us in 2018. Besides regular maintenance, we changed the seat every so often as it'd crack with age. I loved that thing. Cut grass with it as a kid and an adult! I wonder how many 2018 mowers will be around in 30 + years?
I like my cub cadet too. Do yourself a favor and by fron a dealer instead of a big box store. Mine had the starter wig out in the first month. The dealer picked it up, fixed it, and dropped it back off in the same day. No charge.
For sure. The local place gave me a loaner when Cub was having inventory issues and free delivery when the mower came in. During COVID MTD basically stopped processing warranties so I had to come out of pocket for the starter but the dealer sent me a refund a few months later once the claim was processed.
It's not legal. Even in California. Sure there are DAs that go very soft on theives in California and you don't get arrested and given a felony. (just a ticket) for less than 1,000$. But it's not legal to do this. Besides other places are experiencing more theft too and are enacting similar policies.
The new series actually has episodes with middle-aged Beavis and Butthead. Surprisingly good shit.
One episode has Beavis going back to get more unemployment bennies only to be told he has to try and get a job. He takes the job helping incapable, retarded people to find out his assignment is to go home and take care of Butthead. I was howling with laughter with each of the oldfuck episodes.
I watched expecting that bullshit to pop out from the closet at any moment and was pleasantly surprised that at least one splinter of my childhood remained unraped by communists. Beavis and Butthead's teacher Van Driessen remains my favorite depiction of a liberal teacher across all media. Mr. Van Driessen may be a fucking pinko, but he stayed patient with their dipshittery and threw hands at the guest etiquette speaker who strangled Beavis in that one episode I can't remember the name of. Surprisingly heroic archetype.
You know all those videos from Brazil where ordinary people pull out guns and blow away the motorcycle bandits? That's where this all ends. Things will get far worse before that happens regularly, but that is where it is going, as sure as the sun rises in the east.
And yet these dumbass corporations sit here with their rainbow flags on social media pandering to people who hate them and steal all the shit they make.
Craigslist or estate sales. Old "garden tractors" from basically any reputable brand (cub cadet, bolens, simplicity, case ingersoll, sears suburban, etc) before the turn of the century (specifically "garden tractors", not "lawn tractors" or "lawn mowers").
I have way too many lawn mowers, but they don't make them like they used to and I can't let them go to scrap metal just because an old person passed away or moved to Florida. It's not difficult to get a "buy it for life" quality machine for $200 cash, a can of carb cleaner, and a weekend of fussing with it to get it working right again.
When you're evaluating the quality of any lawn mower, and important thing to look at is the thickness of the metal used to make the mower deck. Mowing wet grass will eventually make the deck rust out - the thinner the metal, the faster it will go. Manufacturers know this and change up the designs every few years, and rip people off for new mower decks to the point where people will usually buy a whole new mower. If it feels like a tuna can, it's made out of tuna cans, and tuna cans don't last!
Also look at anywhere where you have contact between a moving part and a stationary part (linkages, etc). Is there plastic wearing on metal? How easy is the plastic item to replace?
How accessible is the engine area to clean out mouse nests? Are the wires sufficiently protected from mouse-chewing?
Is there an easy way (drain valve, etc) to empty the carburetor at the end of the season? How accessible is it to disassemble and clean?
1985-1995 was the golden era of garden tractors. There were lots of competing brands, prices were good, and lot of attachments: Deere, Ariens, CubCadet, Bolens, Kubota and many more. Ultimately I think John Deere wins and is the only one who makes a good garden tractor anymore. Unfortunately they cost as much as $15,000. All the other brands have been absorbed into some bigger company and are nothing more than a repaint of the same belt driven riding mower.
I have all the original papers from the tractor my father purchased in 1971, including a sales brochure with prices.
Adjusting for inflation, the cost of a good quality garden tractor and implements back then (not including a loader) would have been between $10k-$15k, depending on what kind of inflation calculation you believe.
It's remarkable how the price of quality stays the same. It's almost like there's a specific amount of materials, skills, and labor required to create a quality item or something...
True, but that "Craftsman" is the same mower as the Troy-Bilt, John Deere D-series, Ariens, Bolens, Yard-Man and Cub Cadet. All made by MTD and painted different colors.
I paid a little over $10k for my commercial JD zero-turn mower back in 2017. It weighs about 1400lbs has a thick steel deck and quite a few cast iron parts. As we plan to move from this blue shithole, I've been eyeballing what's available at the big box stores. I keep seeing absolute piles of junk for about $3-$6k. If I still have a need for my mower I'll keep it, but if I need to sell it, I know what I got. It will outlast anything sold at a big box store by decades.
A Lowe's employee tried that a few years ago, tried to stop a guy from stealing a mower, and he was immediately terminated. They have a standard rule that says anything outside the doors they're not allowed to even engage
Yeah I meant an onlooker. I don't live in a place where these things happen. Probably bc people here are like me and would shove the lawnmower on top of that thieving fucker. But I suppose that just proves that places go to shit bc regular people allow it. Hope that never happens here.
Same with CVS here in Chicago. In my youth/younger days, my friend used to just go in normally with a reusable bag, walk around, put everything he needed in there, and when he was done, he’d go ask the cashier a basic question so to the person monitoring the camera it reduces suspicion, and after that, he’d just walk around the back aisl perimeter and walk out. Never got caught and he must’ve done it like 10 times I know of at least. He’d catch an Uber, or the bus, or walk through side streets, or just plain drive away, and nothing ever happened. I don’t think he ever removed his license plates when doing it though but that’s be the smart thing to do until you get to a side street a couple blocks away and put the rear one on real quick.
Cops would never come, or if they did they’d just say that they’ll investigate, which never happens in.Chicago where they have better things to do, they’d just say to call back if the person came back in and it’s under 1000 dollars so it’s an ordinance violation, not a felony or misdemeanor, so they’re not gonna do anything, straight up. Hit up a different CVS every time, rotate times so there are different workers, and pick up someone’s receipt off the ground and carry it in your hand as you walk out. Ignore any detectors, keep walking. They can’t detain you, lock the doors, or it’s false arrest so they can sue.
That poor mower will never have a tire pumped up, it's oil changed, get wiped down, etc. It will never see ethanol free gas. It will end up destroyed within a year.
Why would a DA ignore that? It was two white dudes.

Humblebrag when you have no right to
Multiple times per election
$2200 worth of lawnmower, probably just below $2000 considering all the parts they forgot to steal, that's under $1000 per person, hence not theft by Commiefornia law. 🤡🤡🤡
The cap was $950.⁰⁰, which is already pretty high.
I prefer the amount in the BoR, which was greater than $20.
Probably adjusted for inflation by now.
Hispanics are not white
They are in the FBI's most wanted
Correct, but Spaniards are. The media are stupid, race-obsessed, useful idiots trying to nullify statistics.
Spaniards are Celts who got culturally enriched for 800 years
They tried to reverse it, but there's only so much you can reverse 800 years of fuckin'
We are being culturally enriched today.
Some are. Most have destroyed their heritage by miscegenation with natives.

Hispanics are about as white as Sicilians
The death of private property.
Dey brown, why else they b takin a mower. LMAO
Can't even steal fenceable crap, gotta steal TOOLS for Work......
That ain't for work, those retards don't even know how to teamwork a load... that will be turned into weed and lottery tickets in under an hour.
And the thing is fukin usless because the busted off and left all of the bagging apparatus.
Fuckin tweakers.
I see you know tweakers. Tear up $2k worth of stuff to steal $500 worth, to sell for $20. Scum of the earth.
Man, chop shops are specializing in lawn mowers now. Shit is getting rough.
He gave him $300 for it
Pretty much
Yeah, totally useless now because there’s no bag….???
Because the bag and all that bullshit probably costs 600-700 bucks if you are buying it piece meal.... The whole mower costs 2,200....
You can't mow without it unless you are farm mowing, in which case you would want a zero turn not that fucking piece of shit.

My lawn is perfect. I've had a crummy looking lawn for the last 30 years & the solution was in my hands for the last half of that.
You are returning the material to the soil too. Be careful of thatching though. The mulch can build up and thin your grass out
Yeah i'd consider that more "farm"
This video looks like So Cal, you pretty much gotta bag everything there
Home depot will clearance the leftovers for $50.
Yeah, that renders the whole thing useless 🙄
Meh, I use a mulching blade. Haven’t bagged in years fuck that.
Not to mention when he hits the brakes he’s gonna bust his back window
Everybody’s ‘working’ for the tweekend….
The fact that a lawn mower can cost $2,200 is the real crime
Not with Biden*omics !
Why stop there ? Outlaw all gasoline powered mowers while we're at it !
Fuck Joe Biden* !

Still agree the cost is a crime.

i peeked at one, that mug was 15k
They.would have to mow 22 lawns to break even or just break even right now.
damn that grass catcher is a $500 option don’t be leaving that behind
yeah idiots, left all the good parts
Gotta stay under $2000, otherwise it would count as theft by Commiefornia law. 🤡🤡🤡
Is this for sure California? I didn't see that anywhere
Hard to tell, but I don't know any other state where this would essentially be legal. Or where someone would steal a lawnmower.
It's not legal. Even in California. Sure there are DAs that go very soft on theives in California and you don't get arrested and given a felony. (just a ticket) for less than 1,000$. Better than paying $500 bond

Napoleonic code allows things like this whereas it's harder in common law based countries
That only applies to situations where rule of law exists. Where it no longer exists, people do what they have to do

Would be excited to see when this goes mainstream. Hope they'll be filmed horizontally with image stabilization enabled.
I hope they got hernias.
I slipped a disc watching this.
Yeah, that didn't look like proper lifting, I was sort of expecting one of them to feel that pinch and seize up mid lift but they pulled it off.
He on that Floyd shit so he dun feel nothin
And yet these dumbass corporations sit here with their rainbow flags on social media pandering to people who hate them and steal all the shit they make.
That was a great comment. We'all should send this to every store in the country.
It was made in China by slaves to begin with
Muh Human Right Sit And Mow !!!
Underrated comment.
Who down voted this?
LOL. Yeah, I have some too, as you can see.
We wuz landscapers n sheeeit
Retards lifting on the plastic, and then leaving all that shit behind.
It's a craftsman. Lowe's is probably happy they took that junk off their lot.
Joke's on them - new box store mowers are junk.
It'd be a damn shame to throw out your back stealing a big old dog turd like that.
Where do you go for a quality mower / brand etc? I've kept a 25 year old Craftsman running, but you never know.
I've started looking for a gravely sickle bar mower. They make a nice cut
Wow - thanks!
Hustler
Def not joggers. When is the last time you see joggers mowing their lawn?
I came here just to say that, but you beat me!
What a couple of retreads. Grab the wheels morons, front wheels first, rear wheels next. But no, lift the plastic chute, Einstein.
Y'know, a smart criminal would have stolen a couple 2x8s or a sheet of plywood first...
Couple of 2x8s and a sheet of plywood, would have doubled the value of the stolen items.
True, but that "Craftsman" is the same mower as the Troy-Bilt, John Deere D-series, Ariens, Bolens, Yard-Man and Cub Cadet. All made by MTD and painted different colors.
That stamped deck screams poor quality. It’s ridiculous what a “decent” mower costs under Xiden.
Or steal a Lowe's 4x8 utility trailer first with a ramp and just push the mower up the ramp. Bonus: they can also sell the trailer for meth.
Amateur thievery. Gotta stay calm.
Damn. At least steal a Cub Cadet.
Oh look, lowes is hiring!
The soyjack filming telling them "ThIs Is GoInG oN yOuTuBe!!"
I remember in 1990 Montana my 19 year old classmate got a six week jail stay for stealing a snow blower for his dads christmas gift.
And on that day, they finally discovered what “hard work” is.
These guys acting like they got 5 stars in GTA while no one is around.
Why the fuck wouldn't someone walk over like they're helping and push the mower on top of one of them?
even funnier, just hop in their truck while they're busy lifting the mower. I guarantee you it's either running, or the keys are in the ignition
Why would the SUV do this
Great idea. I'm going to remember that.
Yup. That's what Lowe's managers tell me. They know who the shoplifters are, and they're hit every week at my local store.
I don’t think he ever removed his license plates when doing it though but that’s be the smart thing to do until you get to a side street a couple blocks away and put the rear one on real quick.

Ignore any detectors, keep walking. They can’t detain you, lock the doors, or it’s false arrest so they can sue.
Nothing inside the doors either.
Liability.
Pussy
I answered your question. Maybe don't ask stupid questions? Then you don't have to make assumptions about other people.
Wait until it turns into our lives. Repent before it's too late.
I see us lawful shoppers just paid for their lawnmower. We are always the ones to pay 1 way or another.
Observe how things are made with such shit quality that half the thing fell apart as they were loading it
Nothing which is unearned is treated well.
That poor mower will never have a tire pumped up, it's oil changed, get wiped down, etc. It will never see ethanol free gas. It will end up destroyed within a year.
Normally I despise this "urban" music but it definitely paired nicely with the video - 10/10
Simple, these are being stolen by and for illegals.
Wait, I thought it was only legal to steal $900 or less? I can’t believe this is happening!
