I'm going to upvote this just because I completely agree. More people on here need to take the time to read the Declaration of Independence a few times a year. There's quite a bit of what Jefferson was bitching about then that applies today.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
There is no Trial By Jury in the USA anymore. Most defendants plea bargain. If you decide to exercise your right to a jury trial, it's going to take years, probably will bankrupt you, and there's no guarantee you will win in the end. Plus, most plea deals are for a fraction of time compared to going to trial and losing. I.e., you can plea bargain for 1 year including time served, or you can go to trial and spend 20 years in prison if you lose; even an innocent person would take the plea deal under those circumstances.
Good.
Re-do it all. Defund everything. Drastically police what's left.
American revolution 2.0
This. It's literally already written out in the Declaration of Independence.
Just do it all over again.
