I remember this night. Media shit talked him, but we saw something completely different. Somebody who gave it their all and STILL took the time to go out and spread the message to the people. This photo always gets me. Thanks President Trump for your tireless effort, you’re not perfect but you sacrificed a lot and you’re the best we’ve ever had. You are my primary role model these days. Somebody so well insulated, rich and famous that none of the problems like illegal immigration would ever affect him, yet he looked around and got fed the hell up with what this country has become. So he decided to stand up and do something about it. People thought it was a joke, a publicity stunt. But then he single handedly demolished like a dozen people (along with moderators and media pundits) then he went on against all odds to defeat what some call a literal demon. Shits hitting the fan right now and we need Trump back, but 2015-2019 was something so special. We lived through and participated in a VERY special moment in American history and no one can take that away from us.
Yeah. It was a campaign rally when he got back to the White House after midnight I think. Doing the job well and still going out to do a rally with thousands of supporters, you won’t see that from Biden or anyone else. Even COVID as much of a mess and lie all that was, he would still go out every single day for weeks and talk and answer hostile questions from the press. It was really special, even in the beginning when you didn’t know how serious it was going to be, you could rely on Trump to talk and answer questions in the rose garden every single day.
Almost positive it was the night he got back from visiting his dying brother on his deathbed. I remember it because it was the only time he looked down and solemn. His brother died the next day.
I'd rather have immortality through lasting fame than transient wealth. Most people here can't name millionaires and billionaires despite wanting to be like them.
I’d rather no one know my name and have generational wealth. Being famous and walking down the street where people might recognize me sounds fucking awful… but having enough money to do what I want and live comfortably without doing a job for someone else sounds amazing
I enjoy being the 'little man' and so does most of humanity. It's only a driven few that seek fame and fortune and power. Sadly given the planet is home to billions 'a few' is in the millions or more and many of them are sociopaths and psychopaths.
you gotta be famous for the right reasons. usually, fame follows a big accomplishment. but lots of people chase fame instead of accomplishing anything worthwhile first
That is being independently wealthy not generational wealth. Pretty huge difference. You need 4-8 million dollars for what you want to be reality, and you need about 10 million dollars per kid you have to have generational wealth.
When you die, your kids will be somewhere in the age of 45 to 70 years old. On average something about the age of 55 though.
Giving 400k to a 55 year old is just barely enough to get them a 40k a year retirement at 65. Presuming they have a paid off house, which is only true on a 30 year note if they have stayed in the same house since 25 or made early payments. And that they put the money towards retirement rather than luxuries or their children's college or something.
Your kids need their house paid off and a million bucks at that age to not be poor.
A "wealthy" sum of money at that age is about 5 million dollars after your house and car is paid off. But then you are dealing with everything from estate taxes to lawsuits to simply the psychology of gifted large sums of money. And their spouses. And grandkids. Dont forget the grandkids' spouses too.
I have 8 kids and it honestly feels like I dont have enough to qualify as generational wealth despite owning 2 larger apartment complexes in Denver.
And I am also left with the decision on how to split my estate - because 3 of my kids are wealthier than their share of my estate, 4 are clearly poorer, and 1 is a weird case due to being 20 years younger than the rest of my kids are on average yet on track to be one of if not the wealthiest. Should I give money to my harder working and more virtuous children, or should I give more to people that simply are modest and made a couple bad decisions? And I also have some assets worth more than a modest sum, yet produce nearly no income, such as my personal ranchette, then having to deal with splitting that...
Talk to an estate planning attorney. They will be able to help you make all of those tough decisions. As far as how to split it- it is all going to be equal shares (assuming none of your children haven't completely fucked that up- it happens. If this is the case, you will understand what I mean. ). They are all your kids, that is the only way it is fair. This may mean a sentimentally valued piece of property is going up for sale- but this also means that if it is important enough to at least one of your children, they may be in a position to buy it from their siblings. Talk to an estate planning attorney. It should only cost a few grand. At the very least, your more financially minded children will appreciate it. You don't want to leave your kids with 2 years of probate and the destroyed relationships that will be sure to ensue. Hope this helps.
It has been a decision 20 years in the making, it is still not a fun decision just because there is a current plan.
Because I am not giving them 1/8th ownership of all my assets, that would be a nightmare that would cause lawsuits immediately.
3 assets are more than 70% of my net worth - a 48 unit Denver apartment complex, a 110 unit Denver apartment complex, and a 3200 acre ranchette in Johnson County Wyoming (all deeded acreage). They are not getting split up, they each go to 1 person.
And they arent doing buyouts. They dont have the money too.
I gave you the answer to your question. You can hope and pray all you want, but when you leave this world, your stuff is someone else's shit. It will go into probate, or you will decide. I hope, for your sake, that you will decide. - a total stranger that is giving you the uncomfortable facts.
I can name some historical billionaires who became famous (or more properly notorious) for being pieces of shit. Trump is the only one I can think of who bucks that trend.
Adding to the comment about fame seeking being a psychopathy without intending my comments to be viewed as disagreeing:
Unlike fame seeking, the desire to make a lasting difference, rather than seeking lasting fame, is NOT a psychopathy.
Fortunately, Trump is NOT a psychopath.
However, fortunately for us, and for countless millions of human beings, both now and in the future, Trump does desire to make a positive lasting difference during his brief time here.
Making a difference and being famous aren't the same thing, so we agree. The desire to make a positive difference is a masculine imperative; I would argue that making a meaningful difference without receiving any recognition for it is the most noble cause a man can pursue.
That's my favorite pic of DJT. I really think it shows you how much of a BAMF he really is. That was like the 5th day in a row of doing multiple rallies per day. They tried to use it and make fun of him and with context it's an amazing photo IMO .
He had also gotten word his brother was in the hospital and not doing well. Of course the press thinks they can read his mind and knows why he has any particular look on his face. His brother died not long after this I believe.
Any other man would have given up and said "screw it". Not Trump, he is a fighter. He fights for all of us. He has, and always will have my support. Stay strong Mr. President, we appreciate you!
And GEOTUS is the embodiment of Western Civilization; the individual who strives to achieve and fulfill his/her maximum potential and does not shy away from monumental challenges…
Like George Washington, Trump's greatest role is leading an Independent nation against the forces of tyrannical overseers.
We will never vote our way out of tyranny, and we will never change DC. Our only way out is Independence and Sovereignty with Trump as our President of a new nation.
They roasted him for this picture, saying he looked old and tired. He literally just spent the entire day traveling thousands of miles doing speaking engagements. This is my favorite picture of him.
I've seen a bunch of blue collar manual labor guys look just like this after a long shift. Ever poured a 700 cubic yard bridge deck in July? You're gonna look and feel completely drained. Trump is GEOTUS
based hat merchant
I still have my OG MAGA hat in my truck. Never going away.
😎😍 I still have my OG 2015 MAGA hat on the nightstand by my bed unless I'm wearing it.
I ordered one and it got stolen :(
Thank you President Trump for never quitting! Never give up 🙏❤️
Who else would give so much. Everyone else is looking to take what they can.
Ask not…

The one and only TD. Was trying to place this image, thought it was after a campaign rally. His walking steps back to the White House summer 2020.
Donald J Trump is the only man who stood up and fights against what has been happening on American soil.

Every single day. The bible walk during the BLM riots. Edit good words pede was looking for an I remember this moment comment.
Almost positive it was the night he got back from visiting his dying brother on his deathbed. I remember it because it was the only time he looked down and solemn. His brother died the next day.
This was after the first rally after COVID hit IIRC.
I dunno

Sometimes I was anxious because I forgot to wear pants, but now I remind myself that no one even knows who I am.
I like this comment way too much.

The decision has already been made and has been made for 20 years, you clearly can't read what was written
yeah this is all facts. you need to be a millionaire at minimum to really live good in America
They are almost constantly at work to earn or keep it. Most become a slave to that Love. Root of all evil.

Trump too.
Mission accomplished but he's still not done. " The best is yet to come" as long as we stick with him.
My reply is Semper fi.
How are we so blessed as to have this MAN?????
That's my favorite pic of DJT. I really think it shows you how much of a BAMF he really is. That was like the 5th day in a row of doing multiple rallies per day. They tried to use it and make fun of him and with context it's an amazing photo IMO .

May we all live up to this example
He’s sort of a class traitor. I think that’s why the elites are really losing their mind with hatred. He wasn’t supposed to fight for us.
They're coming for all of us.. He's just in their way.
His brother was dying that week too, I believe.
One of my favorite pictures of him
Never, ever give up.

He was so right to begin his campaign in 2015 attacking the fake news media. It made him bulletproof and woke up so many people.
Like George Washington, Trump's greatest role is leading an Independent nation against the forces of tyrannical overseers.

It sure would be nice if George Washington was sec Def from 16 to 20
Fucking unit.
Yes!
That's why his name will be remembered through out history!

We don't deserve him, but we need him desperately.
A picture truly is worth a tremendous amount of words, and the best words. Unbelievable words. Joking, but serious as well. One of my favorites.
My beautiful POTUS!
Trump would have been a great hockey player.
The balls on this man are yuge
Trump Loyalist.
Tulsa was a dark night of the soul
My dude...
He does it in return for what America gave him 👍🏻
He's our Bruce Wayne / Batman ❤️
That's a good face. The best face of all the faces, nobody ever saw such a face.
... and still dressed better than Fetterman leading Congress.
