Apparently, he didn't actually buy the gun which is a damn shame. That miserable paper even had the gall to compare President Trump to Hunter Biden who did buy a gun.
They even threw drug addiction in there as if it also applies to our President. We shouldn't have the DM stickied anymore, on principle alone.
Same group of Chicoms who run Quora also massively invade and spam pro-CCP and anti-American (which includes anti-Trump) garbage on all the big market websites like Daily Mail.
TBF, Hunter Biden's lawyers have previously threatened to challenge the constitutionality of the drug addiction question. I'm all for it and i think it would be hilarious if Hunter Biden is the reason that this rule is struck down.
I also think that you should be allowed to buy a gun while under indictment. but not yet proven guilty. We have presumed innocence, right? It should apply to everything.
Agreed, and I'm guessing it is only a matter of time before it is struck down. The restriction of 2A regarding protection orders is on the way to SCOTUS, and this is an extremely similar situation.
Imo if someone is too dangerous to have a gun on pretrial release then they shouldn't be out on bail.
Of course he could. He pays for the pistol, and it gets shipped to a FFL in his primary state of residence who then transfers the pistol to Trump. 100% legal.
It is completely legal. The FFL in his home state would have to comply with all state and federal laws to complete the transfer. Unless FL has a statute precluding ACCUSED felons from buying a gun, it is legal on the federal level because you still have all of your rights until you are CONVICTED of a felony. Presumption of innocence and whatnot.
I'm sure that either the NY, GA, or federal indictments have a "no possession of firearms" clause in the pretrial release. It is pretty standard for felony charges. Not saying it should be.
DM are a bunch of leftists. However, if you look up a 4473 form, it says if you are under indictment of a felony which can be punishable by a year or more , you can not buy a gun. Second question in the list of questions. I am glad he didn't buy it, it would have screwed him, they would see to that.
There recently was a case out of texas that its kinda similar, where the 5th circuit essentially ruled that protective orders can't remove your 2nd amendment rights. SCOTUS is taking it up, I believe. I would assume that pretrial release would go the same way.
This is the second time today that I said that I love this man.
Hurry up and swear him in already.
Remember the good old days reading a Trump Tweet in the morning with your coffee and that warm fuzzy feeling when millions of shitlibs lose their mind over it.
Imagine being an American and getting to vote for a presidential candidate that does this on the campaign trail while he is being criminally prosecuted by the Marxist incumbent
Except he didn’t actually buy it. Since he’s currently under felony indictment he wouldn’t dare make a purchase that could put him in further legal trouble.
I honestly think he should go through all the trouble. Not because it's a Glock, but because people like him don't really understand what the common man has to go through for things like buying weapons.
Maybe a bit of understanding will give him some better insight on what being "pro 2a" really means.
He does. He's an HK man. What he doesn't have is a loyalty to the second amendment or any drive and or pressure from his base to actually keep his word on 2a - other than from a few random chucklefucks like me who don't matter one rat's tit because it's pretty clear I support him regardless of what he does (almost regardless).
I downvoted you because he had a carry permit IN NYC. If you know, you know. If you don't know, I won't tell you. But he was one of the people whose names were "leaked" by the government to try to get antifa-adjacent agitators to harass people in their homes and try to get them fired. So...
You went wrong when you thought it was a glock. It's not a glock. It's a glock-owned patent clone after the patent expired on gen3. Glock made their glocks better for gen 5 and also updated the styling to strengthen their copyright and trademark cases when they eventually decide to get sue-happy again.
Meanwhile, PSA did what they always do... take a good platform and make it "Ameica's gun". They did it with the AR15 (without PSA, the market doesn't standardize and the quality doesn't rocket into the stratosphere the way it has). They're now doing it with the grawk, again (only non-turkish quality firearm you can buy on the market at the entry pricepoint - AND made almost 100% in USA to boot).
Nothing stops the company from putting that gun in storage and gifting it to him when he can transfer it legally. But speaking of which, thanks for reminding me that's another shity law that needs to be removed from the books.
Federal law prohibits the transfer across state lines for handguns.
You can buy a handgun in SC as a Florida resident, but it has to be shipped by the SC FFL to a Florida FFL for you to transfer and take possession of it.
Yes, the transfer of handguns across state lines is not legal without a home-state FFL completing the transfer. You are correct.
A Florida resident can go to the gun store in SC and buy a handgun, assuming the SC gunstore is willing to ship the handgun to your Florida FFL in order for you to legally transfer it and take possession of it.
Most people just skip the whole visiting an out of state gun store to buy a handgun, and buy it online and have it shipped to their home FFL, of course, and some local gun stores will refuse to ship and won't complete the sale. It does take a bit of extra paperwork since they have to get the FFL paperwork from your home FFL.
No, the transfer doesn't factor in. Might be federal law changed but I swore people bought handguns in SC when I was stationed in NC because of the lack of pistol permits in SC.
It's a federal prohibition, it hasn't changed, and no NC resident would be able to take possession of a handgun bought in SC without an NC FFL transferring it, before or after pistol purchase permits.
Nope that’s federal law. I was told in a pawn shop in the next state over that you can buy long guns in an adjacent state but I that the guy just wanted to make a sale. I passed on it.
Muh two world wars!!!
Lol but seriously the only thing better is the trigger. There's nothing else better about it. Most 1911s are unreliable crap in comparison to how dependable a Glock is.
Most 1911s are PSA Daggr, G2C, P80 tier. The comparison was never genuine til the glock gen 3 patent ran out and knockoffs showed up on market. Shadow systems is garbage compared to semi custom 1911s
Scored a Dan Wesson for around $1k barely used. Great deal for a mid-tier 1911. Nowhere near the fit of my nicer 1911s (fully custom builds, Nighthawk, Wilson Combat), but that Dan Wesson is still an amazing 1911.
Glocks are for people who can not hit a target and 'spray and pray' they hit something, like cops. 1911s are for seasoned marksmen that do not need 17 rounds, they work great if you know how to use it and maintain it.
That's the dumbest thing I've read all day. Capacity means a lot. It's not about how good of a marksman you are. What if the other guy is good too? You don't want more than 7+1 agaisnt an enemy with 17+1?
Which is exactly why I buy glocks. Hats off to the good marksmen, but I'm lucky if I make it to the range 4 times in a year. Given that I go with the noob gun that never jams. There's a place for weapons that can be owned, maintained, and fired by the layperson.
1911 simps are like simps for muzzle loaders and bolt action rifles when it comes to actual self protection.
the commies are going to attack us like zombies. how the fuck can a 1911 with a maximum of 15 rounds including one spare magazine compete against 35 rounds including one spare magazine?
1911 guns are more like wearing a sword and just an emergency firearm for high ranking officers like a sword is for Japanese officers in WWII
.45 is 1.6x 9mm in diameter. My split times between shots are the same with either. In pure entrance hole size, 3 .45s are worth almost 5 9mms in less time behind the gun. "Shootability" of the 1911 is a little better. Using a 1911 increases my accuracy capabilities at 50 yards as much as putting a red dot on a glock.
Having said that, I switch between carrying my glock 19 and my 1911 all the time.
And a near miss on the heart with a 9mm will rip a ventricle open with a .45 with same placement. There's a reason lots of competition shooters like them. They break the line to better (more accurate) scoring more often
Personally I can't hit shit with my Glock. Every other gun I have no issues. 9mm Walther that's the same size/capacity? Great groupings, zero issues. Colt 1911? No issues. My P365 380 I usually carry? No issues at all beyond stovepipes till I got the grain right in my handloads.
I think, at least personally, I hate the way the Glock feels in my hand, I hate the way the trigger works, and hate the stupid sights on it. If I swap out those parts, sure it's great.
Glock, to me, is the Ship of Theseus. They fucking suck unless you mod them so much they aren't Glocks anymore.
They each have their purposes. 1911s are better collector guns and have single action triggers. Can shoot a bacteriophage off of a bacteria. If I’m going to war then the glock 100% though.
I'd take a cz. Glocks were mandatory at one department I was at, before transferring to one that required sigs (absolute trash in my experience). Cz75 has the weight of a Beretta, the capacity of a glock, and is just so perfect to hold and shoot.
OR, how bout we just get rid of the NFA altogether along with the 1986 machine gun ban and every other unconstitutional gun law made in the last 100 years or so.
The issue is getting representation and votes. I'm with you but I found out the hard way 95% of GUN OWNERS are opposed to that idea. Our thought group is in a reddit-tier bubble; lots of memes, no numbers. We are gun culture but gun culture isn't us if that makes any schizoid sense.
I don't disagree at all. I feel as the older generation of Fudds die off, we will start moving more towards gun freedom. Most of the older generation either don't know or don't care enough about the war against the 2A and how these unconstitutional laws only make us less free.
I get it. People like my father's friends hear, "everyone should be able to own machine guns and rocket launchers" and their gut reaction is, "No! That's scary!" They are terrified to be more free at the expense of their illusion of safety, and no amount of rational explanation will alleviate that fear.
That said, it makes me hopeful for the future that more and more people are coming out against the gun grabbers and the ATF, NFA, etc.
It's not really constitutional either putting a price tag out of reach of almost everyone just to own a select fire.
It's called supply and demand. The reason they're so expensive is because there's a finite number of transferable machine guns available in the U.S.
If FOPA hadn't been passed it wouldn't be nearly such of an issue, but when the only MGs available for civilian purchase are what was manufactured before 1986, it makes them highly sought after and therefore expensive.
Yeah wasn’t there a guy a few years back who like got convicted over a punisher sticker or engraving on his gun? Maybe it was even a cop too? It was a while back, but I do remember that being a big thing, everyone was going around telling each other not to get stickers or engravings for a while.
I've read something about that but don't know if it was a court case.
"Welcome to the “Punisher” backplate, or any other imagery or statement placed on a gun from which a prosecutor can infer that the defendant believed himself above the law in use-of-force situations.
For those unfamiliar, the “Punisher” is a comic book character who acts as a vigilante, subjecting perceived bad actors to punishment without limiting himself to what the law allows. In effect, he’s a criminal. Do you want to provide the prosecutor with evidence from which he can argue that you, too, perceived yourself as above the law for use-of-force purposes, that you’re in effect a criminal?"
It was also suppressor ready! America is ready for a return to OTC suppressors. And hey, while we're at it, why not make the real Sudafed, Ivermectin, and HCQ over the counter as well?
The Mexican cartels lobbied for Sudafed to be strictly regulated. They didn't want Americans making their own meth and cutting them out.
There are literal "superlabs" they make high purity crystal meth right over the non existent border in Mexico. While inflation made the cost of goods go up, the price of these drugs have actually dropped significantly. And that's because of supply and demand.
I love PSA. I built an AR from them, Cold hammer forged FN barrel, Geissele components throughout, Geissele SSA trigger, standard upper and lower, one of their better bolt carrier groups. Things a tack driver, and not a single misfire after thousands of rounds.
No! You're misunderstanding the issue. You can BUY whatever you want, you just can't walk out with a handgun out of that store if you don't live in that state. You can go to any gun store and BUY whatever you want... IF the store will sell it to you. But that gun isn't leaving the store in your hands unless that guy wants to go to prison alongside with you.
Think of it like an online purchase. The act of "buying" in the store means the store SHIPS to your local ffl of choosing (inside your jurisdiction) whereupon YOU pay a TRANSFER FEE so they can do your 4473 and you can walk out with your gun.
If you do it online out of state or you do it in person out of state, it doesn't make a difference.
I would never sell someone a gun in a parking lot for that reason. I applaud those who take the risk but I'd need to keep a copy of your driver's license for my records so we might as well take it to the gun shop. My exposure isn't worth your 25$.
I'm not misunderstanding anything, homie. I'm outright admitting I don't understand it at all :) That's why I'm asking. My question was more about reciprocity, which I also don't understand.
It's a mess. Don't listen to internet randos about it because the laws change too much. Take a CC course and let the instructor know ahead of time that's what you're interested in. Basically, yes, the only thing that can fix the issue right now is national constitutional carry; the other is judges deciding to actually enforce 2A but they'll never give up their bullshit powers so don't count on it. I could write a 3 paragraph reply explaining it but it might already be outdated or it might change in 2 weeks.
I gave up on it. I already lived in 3 states where they leaked CCL info to the press to attempt to harass gun owners so I'm in the "stay away from stupid places at stupid hours of the night" camp - and that works a lot better than a CCL. I also prefer people not to know if or not and when I'm armed; it's none of their business.
At first glance I’m like why would you spend that much on a Glock. Then noticing it was custom with his face on it, I understood. Seen a 1911 that’s like $2500 at a gun show that had is name on it in gold with 45 on the grip. Nice collectors piece if ya got the cash.
I like how some dipshit downvoted you. They're probably not wrong from the way the law is INTEPRETED these days but it's a certainty you're right in what the 2a says in plain english.
Probably not these days. But when he carried, it was an HK compact in 9mm, if i remember correctly. One of my fav carry pieces and that was before I knew he carried it. https://hk-usa.com/hk-models/p30sk/ Something like this, but his was a regular compact and they don't seem to carry that anymore.
I love how MTG stayed somewhat in the background and let the guys get in with Trump. I'm really glad she didn't make it all about her and what she is doing. See real femininity is about knowing when to hang back a bit and not make yourself the center of attention.
MAGA pistols. It is a must have for 2024. Maybe it comes with a hat. This is going to piss off the left.
The hat just makes them want to come and fight you.
But then you could just shoot them with the gun.
Win/win for sure
Bet Jack Smith indicts him on gun charges somehow… then let;s Hunter off
The Daily Mail made a big point of saying he couldn't legally buy the gun. I don't like the Daily Fail.
Pepe Farm remembers that the Daily Mail had to pay a settlement to Melania after she sued them for claiming she was an escort.
Damn, you're right! I forgot all about that. They're scum, man.
Their comments section on every story will give you AIDS
You misspelled Chicoms. Very fishy how you aren't also including Chicoms.

Agreed! 👍
100% legal.
Doubtful that it is legal.
Pretty much everyone charged with a felony is prohibited from possessing a firearm, regardless of the charges. Usually no alcohol or drugs either.
I couldn't as part of my pretrial release.
DM are a bunch of leftists. However, if you look up a 4473 form, it says if you are under indictment of a felony which can be punishable by a year or more , you can not buy a gun. Second question in the list of questions. I am glad he didn't buy it, it would have screwed him, they would see to that.
How the hell has that not been challenged in court?
I agree, indited is not guilty. However, it's been on there as long as I can remember.
There recently was a case out of texas that its kinda similar, where the 5th circuit essentially ruled that protective orders can't remove your 2nd amendment rights. SCOTUS is taking it up, I believe. I would assume that pretrial release would go the same way.

Jokes on them.
Does the hat really make them come after you? My fren has been itching to shoot a faggot in the face for some time now.
$899 hat with a free gun gift lmfao
That's a mf deal, baby
A white hat

I just put $75.01 in my little sedan tonight.
Bidenomics works, am I right!

Feels good man! 🐸
Except he didn’t actually buy it. Since he’s currently under felony indictment he wouldn’t dare make a purchase that could put him in further legal trouble.
What a dishonest headline.
That’s bullshit. You don’t lose your 2A rights for an indictment. Easily challenge.
No, but he could purchase it and have it transferred to an FFL in his residing state and take possession after a 4473.
Why go to all that trouble for a Glock?
I honestly think he should go through all the trouble. Not because it's a Glock, but because people like him don't really understand what the common man has to go through for things like buying weapons.
Maybe a bit of understanding will give him some better insight on what being "pro 2a" really means.
Bump stocks enter the chat...
Also to highlight a business that supports him.
That’s fair and a good point. I just hope he has better taste in guns 😉
He does. He's an HK man. That is false.
You can buy them all you want, but you cannot transfer and take possession of them. They'll need to be shipped to a Florida FFL for that.
Pretty sure that depends on the state. That's why Indiana is always getting blamed for chicagos pistolero problem.
Federal law prohibits the transfer across state lines for handguns.
You can buy a handgun in SC as a Florida resident, but it has to be shipped by the SC FFL to a Florida FFL for you to transfer and take possession of it.

Looking at an Alchemy next.
I got a Sig Tac Ops Traditional slide for a little less than that. It's not MUCH worse than my Ed Brown.
Have you tried the BULs?
I own a 9mm BUL 1911. The trigger out of the box is amazing on it. Really nice 1911 and you get a lot for the money.
Glocks are for people who can not hit a target and 'spray and pray' they hit something, like cops. 1911s are for seasoned marksmen that do not need 17 rounds, they work great if you know how to use it and maintain it.

I love both. In fact I love all guns. Just not hipoint. Unless it's uh. A truck stop gun
It's 2023. Time to get a 2011 that takes glock mags.
He did not buy it, why is that part of the header for the news source?
His campaign is saying he did not buy it, because apparently that would be illegal due to his indictions
Now he needs to reverse course on the bump stock ban.

Yeah, God bless him, but he really screwed the pooch on that one.
I would never buy any weapon with political statements because if you use it in self defense they use it against you
Guns are political, but yep, you're right.
This wouldn't be an EDC (every day carry), it would be a barbecue gun.
And what about a gun with the 2nd amendment engraved on it. That is a political statement as well
in these crazy times yea

Question is why was he hanging out with that chair humping dog MTG? Did he have her fixed or something?
I love PSA. I built an AR from them, Cold hammer forged FN barrel, Geissele components throughout, Geissele SSA trigger, standard upper and lower, one of their better bolt carrier groups. Things a tack driver, and not a single misfire after thousands of rounds.
I used to buy my ammo from PSA before Commiefornia banned internet orders.
That gun would have been less money under Trump’s Presidency
It was free! But your not wrong
They're saying this is a crime because Trump is indicted on felony charges.
Yea his lawyers already came out and say he didn't buy it lol
IIUC there's some SCOTUS precedent that the law on it's face or in it's application was unconstitutional. No other details.
Ironically they are also ruling that Hunters charge is unconstitutional, so he may get off
I literally could not love this national treasure any more..
You say this every time you love him more. But I believe you believe!
you just buy it and have it shipped to your own state's FFL
you can buy guns on the internet from any state... it goes to a local FFL and there you do whatever the state requires
Would reciprocity get rid of this so he could buy it in SC and carry it out?
If he travels through a non reciprocal state, no.
But if there was national reciprocity, then he could?
Commifornia... good luck.
Overthrown president you mean.
At first glance I’m like why would you spend that much on a Glock. Then noticing it was custom with his face on it, I understood. Seen a 1911 that’s like $2500 at a gun show that had is name on it in gold with 45 on the grip. Nice collectors piece if ya got the cash.
18 U.S.C. § 922(d)(1) makes it a federal crime to sell a firearm to a person who is under felony indictment.
And 18 U.S.C. § 922(n) makes it a federal crime for a person under indictment to ship or transport a firearm.
I don't know how you claim to be a Trump supporter, but you certainly aren't.
And the 2nd amendment makes these laws null and void.
I like how some dipshit downvoted you. They're probably not wrong from the way the law is INTEPRETED these days but it's a certainty you're right in what the 2a says in plain english.
Love that
Kings stay kings
Thats pretty fucking gangster
Thank God he's understanding what time it is. We need to protect him, but now he has constant protection that he can use at will.
Nice. But, I'd prefer to purchase the Glock new for ~525.00 USD and a medium powered laser etcher for 300.00 USD.
That's MY President!
Lots of US MADE guns available but it least it’s not made in China.
I hope he stays strapped with it.
Hunter is maga jealous

is he gonna get indicted for buying a glock
FUCK YEAH!!!
I want one, Santa! I've been good!
I love how MTG stayed somewhat in the background and let the guys get in with Trump. I'm really glad she didn't make it all about her and what she is doing. See real femininity is about knowing when to hang back a bit and not make yourself the center of attention.
MONDAY gun day this week!
anyone got link to that glock? i want same one now.
