Some of us oldsters already died in the great y2k, and 2012 nothingburger calamities. But I don't expect todays youth to have attention spans even long enough to finish this sentence.
My computer shut down y2k I remember my 3500 dollar Hp Pavilion with Win 98 and a 60gb HD (top of the line) shit off at midnight Jan 1st. I thought the y2k BS was real for a second. Was just an update..
Yep. I personally think it's entrainment to accept the good ole' brain chips, which will be the same thing, except far more invasive and exert direct control over the person.
I was a sysadmin[1] at the time. Installed patches and Bob's yer uncle. A windoze manager at work looked at me, aghast, and asked wasn't I going to stay ALL NIGHT in case something broke?!?!?!?!?! *snort*
About two years later a user went to the help desk with Y2K problem in an obscure function in LaTeX. I dug into the source and found the bad date function along with a comment that said (paraphrase) "I know I'm doing this wrong and it will break in 2000, but not my problem."
Some of us just inherently understood the world wouldn't end because a computer most likely just needed a date and time change.
The powers that be have been attempting to sell fear porn for many years.
There's only so many times the end of the world as we know it can supposedly happen until you realize its bullshit.
Now, that said, there is totally precedent for economic disaster, ala great depression.
That sure as shit can happen again and likely is already happening right now, just slowly.
Once you clear away all the bullshit, net neutrality was an attempt by the deep state to prioritize traffic to sites they deemed worthy and to throttle bandwidth to sites they considered disinformation.
The Bolsheviks wanted the power to tell ISP's what websites you could visit while using their network. Regardless if you pay for it or not. Ultimately they wanted to control the flow of information and also pick winners and losers in the business world. You know, real Fascism.
Yup, Net Neutrality was incredibly seriously bad. I'm still amazed by all the so called "tech specialists" (including influencers) that were all for it. I basically stopped listening to a lot of people in the tech space after that.
You are so right. I was against the idea of this crap back when the Leftards were prattling on about it all the time. It just felt like they were trying to provide a solution to a non-existent problem. Now that I read your comment, in retrospect it was the attempted start of the fascistic information control they so desperately crave.
It seems that since they were unsuccessful with 'net neutrality', they instead infiltrated boards of companies they wanted to control. Companies run by Leftist shitbags like Jackoff Dorsey rolled out the communist red carpet for the feds.
Communists fight on hundreds of different fronts simultaneously. It's not like like they fail at one thing and try another. They try 100 different things all at once and learn from what works and what doesn't. They're constantly testing new methods of acquiring power.
They're like parasites, constantly evolving. It's important not to underestimate them.
Nobody came for me and I'm not vaxxed, but I live in a red state and I'm allowed to tell people to fuck off and get away with it. And because I'm not a pussy and do what I want.
I am moving to another state this week and have to throw out some older pillows/blankets. Will be placing orders for Mike’s products tomorrow. Heard really good reviews and can’t wait to try out his pillows!
Not the guy you were responding to, but the rubber slide sandals are really comfortable too. They make a nocturnal piss walk across the tile in winter downright pleasant.
No, I got that. I meant souring the internet buying them before they’re gone.
I think Mike’s a great dude with a genuinely huge heart, and I pray for him and his family. He’s no stranger to tough times and he’s shown he’s not a quitter, but they’re hammering this dude. That said, they’re really fucking comfortable and not lumpy.
I love his pillows. Yeah, the left is ruining Giuliani's life, Meadow's life, Trump's life, & more. Trump was just convicted of fraud & is being fined $250 million. They also want to strip him of all his properties & cancel his permit to operate in NY State.
That will hurt your credit, maybe just keep account open but with zero balance. That might do more harm their debt ratio (unsure on this as zero balances might not be considered debt).
Then you either pay a fee to your bank, or you're miserably deep into debt within that bank. Anyone who isn't in debt is charged a lot for the "privilege" of having a bank account, even tho you're basically forced to have one to work and pay taxes.
Amex charge cards have a fee. Amex credit cards do not always come with a fee.
One interesting thing about Amex - they will backdate all new lines of credit to match your Member date. So if you open a new line with them it can be a substantial boost to your credit score if it makes a big impact on your average age of accounts. You can add your kid to your accounts and get them started with a really nice score if they are mature enough to use it properly since their account age would match yours.
You should add your children to all your cards as a user and let them reap the credit score benefits of on time payments. If god forbids something happens and you miss a payment it doesn’t reflect on them just the on time payments.
AMEX is not a great company and the whole point of this post is how they’re going woke and screwing Lindell.
Screw them, there’s other ways to build a credit score.
In fact, I got an email just today from a company claiming to be a non-woke credit card company. Didn’t have time to check them out, but the parallel economy is real and exploding.
A brand new account won’t help. But if you can get an account that has a significant impact on your average age of accounts it would. Or if the extra credit drops your utilization down below certain thresholds.
Check out CreditBoards.com before you do anything. Those credit nerds are great at gaming the system.
Fuck a credit, fuck a doc, fuck a cop. I’ll go accapella. Fuck playing their game, it’s high time everyone stood up from the game table. I be goin out screamin fuck the New World (order)!
"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." - Mark Twain.
I think I’ll do this. I have never allowed a single debt to roll over into the next month in 20yrs. But I’ve used this credit card substantially zero business from me now on.
Effectively zero. You can open new lines of credit almost as easily as you can close them. They want your business. Don't play their retarded mind games with them.
So, I guess they also do merchant payment processing aside from their high-end credit card biz, and Mike was using them for that. Not an easy task retooling to another payment processor but he's not totally screwed. Yet another reason for parallel economy stuff for finance like gab pay, privacy crypto etc
"Oh no.. hold on, compromise your principles, otherwise the hall monitors might give you 30 demerits!"
lol.. grown people saying this shit. Sometimes I can't fathom the world we live in. It's nothing personal, man, you're so not alone on this point, but your comment was the one that broke me.
Having a credit line involuntarily closed hits much harder than 30 to 40 points.
Credit scores are statistical models that predict your risk of default. For the most part, they are stateless. That point can be a bit hard to understand since the dataset they are calculated from is your "credit history", which seems like it should be pretty stateful.
But "average age of credit lines" is calculated in a very literal way - no consideration is given (in this factor) to what the line was opened or closed, or why. They just add up the months in the current data and divide by the number of active lines.
This was the first 'credit card' I ever got because I didn't qualify for a real one at the time. It didn't take me long to learn why nobody uses it except extremely wealthy people. I cancelled it after a year later back in the 80s because THEY SUCK.
I used to subscribe because they do good work and are honest, but those demands to sign in to read just pissed me off so much I cancelled my membership (I use brave and never store credentials, so it was literally every time I clicked on a link). So yeah, it’s decidedly annoying
Archive it bypasses the paywall. There is also a website or bot or something that you enter the URL and it displays website without the paywall. The equivalent to how Nitter is to Twitter/X.
I know how this feels. One of my biggest struggles is keeping a credit card processor, although this looks like a line of credit, but still it’s political targeting; for my business because I’m considered “high risk” luckily I’ve had a stable one for nearly the last 2 years albeit at a much higher rate than normal processing, but if credit card companies found my post history here, I’d probably be in a real mess lol. I feel like a douchebag for not buying MyPillow products, I just don’t shop very often and only buy the bare minimum of what I need, but I should get a pillow soon. Best of luck Mike, you’re a stand up guy and great American no matter what anyone else has to say! (And he may be largely responsible for the failure of one of the worst retail stores in history: Bed Bath & Beyond.
As I understand it: companies don't have large sums of cash lying around. Cash doesn't make money. It's usually all tied up in investments somewhere. Short term loans are a normal part of normal cash flow for bigger expenditures. That's why they're vital to running a business.
Wow you must be a big deal. You’re such a baller. We’re all in awe.
If you’re so great maybe you could cancel your AMEX account and really make a difference in the culture war? Or you just gonna count your money while they take down the only person fighting for election integrity?
Having a million in unused cash lying around is not good business. Cash doesn't make you money. Companies invest into assets that make them money. Meaning almost all their value is tied up somewhere. Which is why short-term loans are common and vital for larger expenditures.
My business had unlimited Amex credit in 2008. Never missed a payment - about 50k per month. During the Asian financial crisis Amex closed my account. Well, technically they allowed me 800/mo credit. But it crippled my company just like that, and over the next few months Amex had to eat 40k+ in bad debt. There was no access to credit anywhere. I pray Mike can get some credit to pay his people and suppliers or he will go under.
I told American Express if they continue their war against MyPillowman I will remove 50% of my business from American Express. I encourage all other small business members to do the same
Make no mistake: They have been doing this for twenty plus years. For example, Authorize.net used to cancel businesses because there was a nearby Mormon competitor, but back then nobody cared.
Remember how the Nazis bankrupted the Jews before the full on frenzy began? Warning signs of what's to come. Today it's just a credit card, but if we allow them to continue how much more are they willing to take from law abiding citizens without fear of retribution? It's the ultimate slippery slope and it's become a pattern. Why would anyone be surprised when they start demanding further punishment in the future?
And not one democrat will ask themself “what crime did he commit to deserve being unpersoned and summarily destroyed?” If a person doesn’t at least question this then they are rotten to the core and you should make sure not to remember them for later.
Sounds like he is we using the loan to fund his election fraud investigations instead of using for “My Pillow”. Breaking the terms of a loan agreement will get it canceled pretty quick.
When I took out my construction loan on the house I had to keep receipts on everything and submit them whenever I bought something with that loan money. It’s was pretty explicit what I could and could not use that money for.
Fuck Amex. I went to close my account tonight, since I never use the thing except for some auto-billing streaming services. I moved all that to another provider and went to cancel my account. I had some "rewards" money that was substantial enough for me to have it applied to my balance before I cancel my card. But cancel this card I WILL.
If you buy slippers, buy at least 1 full size larger. I am 10 1/2 E, tried 11 wide, not big enough. Returned and got size 12 -- fits fine.
I also have pillows and Giza sheets, but returned original model of mattress topper as foam layer made it too hot. Instead of returning topper, they gave me full prompt refund after doing what they told me to do -- donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army and provide them with receipt.
This guy is an American hero. He could have sat on the sideline and made money for himself. Instead he threw himself headfirst into the fight! I will buy some more of the Pillow Man's goods and help the fight.
They came for the pillow man. I said nothing, for I did not sell pillows.
They would have come for me, but I was long dead from Net Neutrality and Tax Cuts.
Some of us oldsters already died in the great y2k, and 2012 nothingburger calamities. But I don't expect todays youth to have attention spans even long enough to finish this sentence.
What, were you saying something?
Somethin bout y2k?
My computer shut down y2k I remember my 3500 dollar Hp Pavilion with Win 98 and a 60gb HD (top of the line) shit off at midnight Jan 1st. I thought the y2k BS was real for a second. Was just an update..
You know you're not supposed to feed them after midnight, right? :p
Ain't that the truth! And trying to work with them is almost impossible. They can't seem to put their phone down for 3 minutes to focus on their job!
Yep. I personally think it's entrainment to accept the good ole' brain chips, which will be the same thing, except far more invasive and exert direct control over the person.

Once you clear away all the bullshit, net neutrality was an attempt by the deep state to prioritize traffic to sites they deemed worthy and to throttle bandwidth to sites they considered disinformation.

You go Eric!!
More like Eric Cartman*
And they will keep coming for you because they are globohomo faggots :p
My god, I am turning into my father! I feel a compulsion to purchase a lifetime supply of firm and medium mypillows and Giza dream sheets.
I am moving to another state this week and have to throw out some older pillows/blankets. Will be placing orders for Mike’s products tomorrow. Heard really good reviews and can’t wait to try out his pillows!
They’re genuinely great. Buy with confidence.
Thanks fren
I started sleeping on My Pillows 2 months ago. Very pleased.
Now I’m going to look into the slippers because apparently the stories about it getting cold in New England in the Fall are true.
What State are you moving to?
Not the guy you were responding to, but the rubber slide sandals are really comfortable too. They make a nocturnal piss walk across the tile in winter downright pleasant.
I’ll have wooden floors for as long as I reside here in the frozen wasteland, but will check those out too.
Haha it’s only September. You’ve got a long winter to look forward to. Thinblood pureblood.
I thought you were in California?
I left in July. I'm in NH for now, but headed to FL in the next few months.
Get the Giza Sheets. I love mine.
The Lady Hamster has full decision making on that issue. But she’s one of us, so she’ll give the sheets a try.
Yep +/= to the high priced fine threads at a high end dept. store.
Haha! New England! Massachusetts specifically!
I thought you were in SD? Did you move also?
My guy the giza dream sheets are top notch even after a bunch of machine wash and drying
That’s exactly what I need, awesome! Thank you fren.
No joke and not just boosting Mike, but the pillows really are very comfortable. Sheets are nice too, but not magic.
The rubber sandals though… holy shit.
Oh nice, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll look into those as well.
For the horde.
We own 3. I like mine. I have the mattress topper as well.
You don't understand. He can't process payments. American Express does all his financial processing. He's SOL.

It is scary how terrified they are of Trump being president. Makes you wonder.
They torpedoed my business 3 years ago, Mike made it a lot farther than most of us.
Not because of your political affiliation, though?
If so they’re beyond scummy, not that they weren’t already.
You do not believe Covid was a political tool to bring about Bolshevism? I sure do
Of course I do! But I was wondering how they got hold of that info to jeopardize your business.
Some small businesses could not withstand the financial burden that the covid nonsense brought to them and closed, mine was one.
I hear you. Really sorry to hear that. I wish you an even more successful career going forward fren.
I have 10 of them.
Ditto fren!!
I have been a customer of American Express for 20yrs. I’m canceling my card.
That will hurt your credit, maybe just keep account open but with zero balance. That might do more harm their debt ratio (unsure on this as zero balances might not be considered debt).
Amex charges you each year a not trivial amount of money for the priviledge of having their card
Depends on the card. I had an amex with wells Fargo that didn't have fees
maybe it's just the annual membership rewards fee..
No, it's per card. They have a few without fees. I have one.
No, it's per card. They have a few without fees. I have one.

Sounds like a great company. I’m gonna look into it. My credit rating is just under “excellent” and I need a boost to get over the hump
I guess I’m not really sure how they are going woke? Abiding by the terms of a loan is pretty cut and dry
A brand new account won’t help. But if you can get an account that has a significant impact on your average age of accounts it would. Or if the extra credit drops your utilization down below certain thresholds.
Check out CreditBoards.com before you do anything. Those credit nerds are great at gaming the system.
Good point, I've never had AMEX but now you brought it up it's because of their ridonkulous fees.
The fee on mine is about 5% of what I get back in rewards cash.
Not every card has a fee
Fuck a credit, fuck a doc, fuck a cop. I’ll go accapella. Fuck playing their game, it’s high time everyone stood up from the game table. I be goin out screamin fuck the New World (order)!
I expected this to rhyme.
I was trying to do the 8 mile bit but then….well…yeah
Was this an 8 mile reference?
Yeah lol
Fair enough, I'm almost there myself!
Fuck ‘em all
Nothing will change if everyone still cares about their credit score.
That’s the trap. The first level social credit score, they are punishing him due to social issues. So we all ready have it.
I try to maintain a balance between being ready for the SHTF moment and not screwing myself if the SHTF moment never comes.
Not sure which outcome I prefer, at this point.
There is no luke-warm.
"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." - Mark Twain.
You already know there’s only 1 outcome, it’s just a matter of when at this point.
I do not know that and am actively working to avoid that outcome.
I think I’ll do this. I have never allowed a single debt to roll over into the next month in 20yrs. But I’ve used this credit card substantially zero business from me now on.
Good deal, we can make an impact of we stick together.
How bad could it hurt you canceling a CC?
Effectively zero. You can open new lines of credit almost as easily as you can close them. They want your business. Don't play their retarded mind games with them.
So, I guess they also do merchant payment processing aside from their high-end credit card biz, and Mike was using them for that. Not an easy task retooling to another payment processor but he's not totally screwed. Yet another reason for parallel economy stuff for finance like gab pay, privacy crypto etc
Don't cancel unless you’d like a nice 30 to 40 point ding on your CBR. They’ll gig your ass.
This is what modern school does to people.
Makes them afraid of the dumbest shit.
"Oh no.. hold on, compromise your principles, otherwise the hall monitors might give you 30 demerits!"
lol.. grown people saying this shit. Sometimes I can't fathom the world we live in. It's nothing personal, man, you're so not alone on this point, but your comment was the one that broke me.
But, if you tell the company to notify the CBR that it was at Customer's Request, doesn't that stop the point drop?
Part of Credit Score is figured by how old your oldest account is.
No.
Having a credit line involuntarily closed hits much harder than 30 to 40 points.
Credit scores are statistical models that predict your risk of default. For the most part, they are stateless. That point can be a bit hard to understand since the dataset they are calculated from is your "credit history", which seems like it should be pretty stateful.

send a professional email to as many people in management as possible telling them you do not care for their business practice here.
Be cordial, don't be too spirited.
I did this morning.
This was the first 'credit card' I ever got because I didn't qualify for a real one at the time. It didn't take me long to learn why nobody uses it except extremely wealthy people. I cancelled it after a year later back in the 80s because THEY SUCK.
Outside America you basically can't pay with it anywhere because of the high fees on business. They just laugh at you while throwing you out.
AFAIK also the FBI has never returned his business phone that they stole from him after confronting him at a fast food place.
I'd smash the phone on ground in front of those fuckers out of spite
Charged with destruction of evidence. Impeding investigation, etc. etc.
Oh well.. Better than self incrimination
Chew and swallow the SIM card
Sim hasn't stored any usable data in two decades
Yeah but it’s more about the imagery and attitude
You don't Fuck with a Man's Pillows!
They’re not lumpy pillows. Asshole.
But… they are, which I thought was the point? That confused me when he said that
Don’t make me repeat my prior comment with a comma instead of a period
Had it with these Epoch Times articles. Always need to sign in or create an account to read them. In that case, moving on.
I used to subscribe because they do good work and are honest, but those demands to sign in to read just pissed me off so much I cancelled my membership (I use brave and never store credentials, so it was literally every time I clicked on a link). So yeah, it’s decidedly annoying

Fuck American Express
Also Chase. Also Wells Fargo.
Not a lot of options out there. Pick your poison.
Old Glory Bank is up and coming. But I just know as soon as they get big enough the attacks will come.
Credit card companies are being used to control private businesses. CBDC will be used to control individual citizens.
Time to cripple American Express, and let it sink like bed, bath and beyond.
They're coming for Trump's Org's as well.
https://twitter.com/AntiToxicPeople/status/1706768667932000278?
I doubt Trump was directly involved but their is significant evidence that someone over there was up to some pretty shady shit
How does the loss of a 1 million dollar credit line cripple a company like his? I figured My pillow would have at least 10 million cash on hand.
Unless... also having to say fight frivolous lawsuits up the wazoo by Lefties galore.
Yeah a million bucks isn't that much considering the size of the company. I think Mike is being a bit sensational to kick on AMEX a bit.
Sensational like the snake oil salesman that he is.
As I understand it: companies don't have large sums of cash lying around. Cash doesn't make money. It's usually all tied up in investments somewhere. Short term loans are a normal part of normal cash flow for bigger expenditures. That's why they're vital to running a business.
Company is deep in the red since 2020.
“Crippled” by losing a million dollar credit line? Man they are a small time operation.
He’s probably exaggerating
Standard grifting tactic.

Lawsuit incoming, they must prove the company suffered financially to get any money back, the credit card company damaged my pillow by their actions
Time to order new pillows and dog beds.

Mike's Giza sheets are awesome. GET SOME for you and your extended fam.
Sorry Mike! I can only buy so many pillows.
towels, sheets, blankets, Robes, footwear, dog beds, mattress covers, much more to buy, COFFEE !!! MONTHLY
I told American Express if they continue their war against MyPillowman I will remove 50% of my business from American Express. I encourage all other small business members to do the same
WHAOW FIFTY WHOLE PERCENT!!!1 God bless you patriot, your freedumb medal should arrive in the mail in 2 weeks!
Time for parallel economy, fuck these wef complicit asshats
Make no mistake: They have been doing this for twenty plus years. For example, Authorize.net used to cancel businesses because there was a nearby Mormon competitor, but back then nobody cared.

Boycott.
It's fucked up that they lumped up his pillow company :(.
Time for an American Express boycott!
I know what I'm buying for Christmas.
Fuck Amex. I went to close my account tonight, since I never use the thing except for some auto-billing streaming services. I moved all that to another provider and went to cancel my account. I had some "rewards" money that was substantial enough for me to have it applied to my balance before I cancel my card. But cancel this card I WILL.
He should accept BC
They'd probably fund one of their criminals to donate and then use that as evidence of extreme maga terrorism, or some shit.
Like Gates buying ABInbev?
If you buy slippers, buy at least 1 full size larger. I am 10 1/2 E, tried 11 wide, not big enough. Returned and got size 12 -- fits fine.
I also have pillows and Giza sheets, but returned original model of mattress topper as foam layer made it too hot. Instead of returning topper, they gave me full prompt refund after doing what they told me to do -- donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army and provide them with receipt.
Phone staff always friendly and helpful.
No one uses Amex. Most merchants decline the service and won’t take the cards.
Why this guy got zero power to unturn the election. All of his findings did nothing but make us mad with all the findings
Don't just pray. Order a Pillow from this Patriot
This guy is an American hero. He could have sat on the sideline and made money for himself. Instead he threw himself headfirst into the fight! I will buy some more of the Pillow Man's goods and help the fight.
I think at this point you can pretty much boycott all name brand anythings and start focusing on a parallel economy.
