The main consideraton for Newsom replacing Feinstein is finding a political ally of his than can be his laison in Washington, like he did for replacing Kamala with his buddy Padilla. Newsom probably doesn't have a Black Women that fits the bill. Schiff or someone like him Newsom's choice
