Most skilled, most involved w community, truly a champion of the patients. He walked away from it all and gambled, bc of what they did. I'd go see him, but he's an upped middle class doc now who doesn't F w medicaid medicaire or insurance in general. He cancelled himself.

My father refused to work for CVS because of how shit it was (he graduated with Tom Ryan/the founder/owner from URI pharmacy school, same class. He could have started when it was still regional and nobody outside of RI and MA even knew it). He started his own pharmacy instead, but after 15 years a local supermarket offered to hire him as the pharm manager and pay him 50% more, work way less, and still get to own/lease out his store as long as it no longer operated a pharmacy (so he leased it as a convenient store but still got to own the business).
Still, all said and done, he ended up retiring after 43 (I think?) years during Covid because he couldn’t be part of what was going on with HCQ/ivermectin and all the general madness. He retired before the vax even came out. Then, they begged him to come back a year later, part time, and for a 50% increase to over $150/hour. He asked if he had to get vaxxed. When they said yes, he told them no wonder they can’t find help now, and to go fuck themselves.
Edit - and the fact CVS only paid a regional manager $89 an hour speaks volumes. My pops was getting over $100/hr plus an insanely good retirement plan managing a single pharmacy at a supermarket. All the employees assured me it was "FDA approved and safe." I cautioned the Pharmacist that since Pharma was exempt from liability, she could well expect a huge corp. with drugstores on their premises to claim likewise should a lawsuit arise. The failure of even Pharmacist in charge (last in line) to define what a EUA meant left her last in line to actually approve giving the shot. Also, she may want to study why only an "EUA," approval was only issued and maybe look at he history of past failed mRNA vaccines and promise NOTHING re: efficacy & safety. Could she be vulnerable to suit if this experimental vaccine either didn't work, or worse causes great harm? We were both polite, she seemed oblivious. I could envision a scenario like this clip.

I disagree friend, doctor's opinion shouldn't be measured lightly. Doctors shouldn't give opinions lightly. Doctors that recommended or suggested the Covid shot are negligent in their duty to do no harm.

In Feb 2021, I asked & noted at my local grocery that no one, even the Pharmacist, could explain an EUA and Pharma's guaranteed lack of financial liability for the shots. All the employees assured me it was "FDA approved and safe." I cautioned the Pharmacist that since Pharma was exempt from liability, she could well expect a huge corp. with drugstores on their premises to claim likewise should a lawsuit arise. The failure of even Pharmacist in charge (last in line) to define what a EUA meant left her last in line to actually approve giving the shot. Also, she may want to study why only an "EUA," approval was only issued and maybe look at he history of past failed mRNA vaccines and promise NOTHING re: efficacy & safety. Could she be vulnerable to suit if this experimental vaccine either didn't work, or worse causes great harm? We were both polite, she seemed oblivious. I could envision a scenario like this clip.

I disagree friend, doctor's opinion shouldn't be measured lightly. Doctors shouldn't give opinions lightly. Doctors that recommended or suggested the Covid shot are negligent in their duty to do no harm.
In a reasonable world; MRNA covid shots would have been for people who are severely at risk (basically death sentence if you catch covid) and doctors in such cases would have been clear "Here we have an experimental drug, may or may not work, it's your choice to try it"
