Contact your reps immediately and tell them to support the motion

Make it obvious they are ignoring us, otherwise they'll have an excuse to expel Gaetz. We need to put pressure on at the local level -- on the local reps -- to get results

Here's what I sent my congressman, Mike Turner:

"I would like to request that you would stand with Florida congressman Matt Gaetz in his motion to vacate house Speaker McCarthy whom has repetitively gone against the will of the people. I also ask that you would speak up and support Mr Gaetz as he faces possible expulsion. He's the only one boldly fighting for us, protect him!"

Will it be read, reach turner, be heard, acted upon, or make a difference? I dont know. But I do know that not trying is a guaranteed 0% success rate.

FYI: the math is interesting.

If everybody votes, 433 votes, need 217, If all R vote they win. They have 221.

If some R don't vote, or vote against, they could lose.

However, if all D vote present, they don't count. Then it's just a majority of the 221 R. Meaning only 111 R would have to vote to have a majority.

Interesting.

Now watch the impeachment inquiry slowly fade away into the background while these reindeer games are being played.

Impeachment should be the #1 priority. Anything else is a distraction.

Getting the corruption out in the open where nobody can deny it is the biggest blow we can strike against the DS and the lying MSM who have been covering for them. Force them to admit the truth and then let's see how 2024 looks.

Who the Speaker is matters not in the grand scheme of things.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 9 ▼
– freedom2520 9 points 61 days ago +10 / -1

I actually think impeachment is rather irrelevant. Whether it's Sleepy or Kameltoe, the exact same power structure and people actually in charge remains identical.

It'll change nothing, and only expend political capital on our side that could be spent on something more impactful.

Additionally, I think keeping Sleepy as the candidate for 24 is the best outcome as he will draw the least amount of legitimate voters compared to anything else

permalink parent save report block reply

– DTrumpsall 6 points 61 days ago +6 / -0

See my reply to Hamster as well. But I second this. The impeachment inquiry is theater that can only lead to a worse opponent like Newsome who I think is one of the most dangerous people to ever run.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– War_Hamster 1 point 61 days ago +1 / -0

Tell me what's more impactful that exposing how the government and media conspired to cover for Biden's corruption all in an attempt to simply get the anti-DS Trump out of the picture?

We know this, but there are millions of normies who need to be hit over the head with this. Nothing does that better than an impeachment.

And the investigation with full subpoena power may just uncover the Obama ties.

So yes, I think it's somewhat important.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– crimsonfancy 4 points 61 days ago +4 / -0

Absolutely Obama ties. In my opinion he's running the show and there's plenty evidence of it. I've always felt like Hussein has Joe over a barrel because he either had the foresite to silently allow his corruption while he was VP....or maybe it's covering his own ass now. I feel it was Hussein that insisted Biden be the nominee when we saw the others like Bernie (who were well ahead) drop out so it could be possible. Seemed like Joe didnt even *want the gig before this all went down prior to 2020 election.

OTOH, I would currently rather Trump face Biden in 2024 to win and then he can lame duck release the hounds from hell. If Potato Joe kicks the bucket, Harris wouldn't even be able get folks out to vote.

Newsom can't upstage Harris and prove loyal to party or to his own dumbass virtue decisions of naming specifically a "black woman" to replace Diane Feinstein.

🤷‍♂️ I'm not at all as educated in the details of politics as many of you guys are but this is how I've felt lately.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– Deplora 1 point 61 days ago +1 / -0

Exactly. Even if a lot of the "normies" may not turn into Trump voters, if the incredible scale of the Biden family's corruption gets their attention, a lot of them will just not bother to vote at all. And numerically, each Democrat who skips voting is effectively adding a vote to Trump's total, as well as to Republican House and Senate candidates, and state level candidates.

Who the Speaker is matters not in the grand scheme of things.

I respectfully disagree. To an extent, I mean sure the inquiry is better than nothing.... But barely imho. Because:

Getting the corruption out in the open where nobody can deny it is the biggest blow we can strike against the DS and the lying MSM

This just isn't going to happen. Ever. MSM, total blackout. Any mention is, as always "baseless Q-annon conspiracy theorist republican nazis...."

People will never wake up, no one will ever hear nor see this, nothing will change. Even in, during the inquiry the only ones taking it seriously are the same people that where discredited from the very beginning. The court of puplic opinion says that MAGA Republicans are evil nuts and Joe Biden is just maybe slightly old & clumsy. Sure, some people say he's unfit for office, but corrupt? Evil? Nah, just an old grandpa past his prime.

MSM will never cover it. Twitter is the only place it will be seen. Oh, you mean the same twitter we've had for over a year now? Nothing is changing.....

I understand the impeachment inquiry is big because it's all we have.... but there's a reason its all we have.... LEADERSHIP!

The whole thing has been slow rolled, half-assed, and been done with the same seriousness and urgency as a principal looking through a kids notebooks for a dick doodle.

The whole thing is, as always political theater meant to pacify not get anywhere. "look, were doing stuffs".

I mean, I appreciate something is happening..... but nothing is happening from what I can see.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– War_Hamster 3 points 61 days ago +3 / -0

How do you block out an actual impeachment trial?

Edit: Also, the MSM is actually now covering it. It's almost as if the word has been sent out that Biden is a dead man walking. They need to end this before more documentable evidence comes out and they know it's out there.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– DTrumpsall 2 points 61 days ago +2 / -0

It's almost as if the word has been sent out that Biden is a dead man walking

Which leads me to be more blacker-pilled

It seems everything is going wrong everywhere and the odds of Trump being allowed to take victory is growing smaller by the minute.

They cannot, will not, and clearly very determined to take him out AND prevent anyone from winning like that ever again.

People are still too happy and comfortable to just "vote for someone else".

There is no way out of this if the politicle facade is working. People MUST WAKE UP! NOW.

If they take out Biden they'll insert someone far worse. And I'm very afraid it's Newsome. I've told you I think he's the most dangerous person to have run in very long time.

I believe the motion to vacate is necessary to shake things up. Either they fight to keep McCarthy and cleary show everyone that he's a demon in elephant clothing or they flat out insert a demon, but either way what do we lose?

How important is the impeachment trial? Why? What will it achieve? How? When? What is the consequence? We already know the entire Biden family is unfathomably corrupt, so what if that's the way they chose to ditch him? If anything it gives all of them MORE credibility....

If they plan on taking Biden out, they will. If not, they won't.. . Plain & simple.

The democrats run the show and everyone who matters knows it. Nothing will change.

all it requires to vacate is a simple majority vote

if ALL the repubs vote to vacate, its done as we have a simple majority in the House

So we'll get to see who's on what side here very quickly.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 11 ▼

all it requires to vacate is a simple majority vote

Which is why it won't pass. Kevin will strike some backroom deal with 20-30 Democrats like he's very obviously have. Democrats have still gotten their way ever since McCarthy got Speakership.

I've seen the Motion to Vacate as a non-issue since day 1 because McCarthy is a snake and he didn't sweat it one bit. That was all I needed to know the fix was in.

The guy was shaking with anticipation to get in as speaker, I mean he was licking his lips and rubbing his hands looking crazy in the eyes just fantasizing. I knew he was a wolf in sheeps clothing but yet Trump supported him. That to me was another of hundreds of "wtf Trump!" moments. I don't know how he thinks McCarthy would help him back, just like those idiotic judges he chose. The guy just shots himself in the foot all the time and it makes me wanna scream in his ear to "knock it off, these people are NOT your friends!", out of love for the guy.

To help explain wtf Trump moments, consider these quotes from Sun Tzu:

  1. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

  2. The whole secret lies in confusing the enemy, so that he cannot fathom our real intent.

  3. Be extremely subtle even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.

  4. Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.

That view makes some sense, but it is not compatible with the man who beat both the Bush AND Clinton political crime families. By himself. No aids. No advisors. No consultants. No big money donors. Just him.

So the thinking person has to come up with a model that predicts both the uncanny success and the supposed failures.

Sun Tzu covers both pretty well.

And 2024 is shaping up pretty well, so what model predicts that.
