I prefer to do away with the downvote arrow. We have the deport button for truly problematic posts.
That's a great idea. What do we need downvotes for? Only shills ever press that button. So yeah just unhook the button and let them spin their wheels and spend ShariaBlue's money. Or better still, make it work for 3 minutes then undo itself ;)
