I hate that the recent Trek seems totally centered around one character, and it's not even the captain or anyone who it makes sense to be centered around. But in other Treks, even those never centered around the captain the way the recent one centers around Buhrnam. I find it to be a huge turnoff. It's too much of a drama about one person and not enough of a show about many people on one ship.

So funny when you consider that they created a black female character named "Michael" - an inside joke or are they anticipating the former first 'lady' to finally come out of the closet? Hmmm...

>they don't know

Projection is intentional.

Probably for the creators of the show, it is intentional. For many fans of the show, they're really that oblivious. They think they're the good guys.
