To be fair, its hard to say at this point. Google is more than likely playing fast and loose with pro-Trump sites, but I don't think the admins have been implementing any SEO initiatives. Give it some more time and we will know.
If you put in thedonald.win it's the first thing but you shouldn't have to be that specific for the site to show up or be a suggested site. For example, i typed in "ddit.com" and it gave me "did you mean reddit.com" and Reddit was the 2nd link on the first page. Donald.win didn't show at all after looking through multiple pages until i put "the" at the beginning.
If Bing can do it there's zero reason other than fuckery that Google can't.

The site hasn't really been live long enough to be a top search result there. I would test it by typing in the whole address. The rating system works by links to other pages and total clicks from all those pages to the site. They have changed the way search finds and rates stuff though over the years. There was a big change like 3 years ago but I'm not sure of what it consisted of.
This is crazy. I did this search the other night because I thought they might do this, and it came up in the feed as the first result. I just tried it again and it's exactly like your screenshot.
Still comes up as the first result for the exact URL though.
