Why? Because i'm a nerd who wants to see how high my virtual score is compared to others :D Also I want the ability to see the most committed Pedes of all-time

Virtual score of what? Is your level of commitment determined by your virtual social score? If I downvote you (I didn’t) for whatever reason, does this make you less committed?

Here’s an idea, you want to be bold. Hide submission scores from the public all together and let each thread speak for itself. Mods can use the aggregate to make a decision, should it become necessary.

We keep enough score on people in our society. People should come here for fellowship, not to win a popularity contest. I’m sorry if this statement rained on your parade.

What I meant was that over on Reddit; people who had very high Karma tended to post with both quality and quantity. I would see them make a decent comment or two under a thread every few minutes for almost 24/7. It gives you a sense that they genuinely enjoy the content they see and aren't just posting to get upboats.
