I would like to debate this point, please feel free to argue any point you want. And yes I understand this isn’t the place but I just needed to talk about it with others.

I’m not sure that this forum is really designed for these kinds of debates. However, as long as your post remains up, to have a debate, you need to explain why you think that “pornography is cancer”, otherwise you’ve just posted your opinion. Care to elaborate?

Pornography addicts a growing number of men, while the age of average exposure gets lower. Porn stars are extorted often and more and more marriages are destroyed partially or completely by it.

Everything in moderation, Freng.

I think porn at all is dangerous, and give the wrong people money while addicting young men.

Dangerous? That’s a strong word. Maybe it is for people with addiction issues, but we can’t design a society around the weakest among us. You live in a free country where you can do some pretty dangerous stuff. I like freedom... with all it’s danger.

Addiction is the cancer, Son. If a young man has no self control, that is the problem.

Sex drive isn’t bad but when an increasing number of men would rather have porn than a women, your sex drive should be used to get a partner not porn. Masturbation and porn can easily become addictions.

I dont think the government should do anything but keep it above the age of consent. However I think porn as a whole is shameful and presents a bad understanding of commitment and how healthy sexual relationships should work.

People don’t watch porn to learn about how to have a good relationship. I don’t think porn is “shameful.” Maybe some people get bad ideas from it, but porn itself has done nothing to anyone.

Done nothing than be a reason for more than half of divorce.

Oh, good luck telling a 13 year old boy to not look at porn.

The danger is the destruction of relationships and marriages. It’s the addiction of kids.

I'm down for some old fashioned erotica but modern porn, the "weirder the better" stuff, is changing the brains of people who consume it and they will defend it. Guys, so many will never have a healthy relationship/sex life with a woman and will seek out extreme sex scenes just so they can get their rocks off.

porn is more dangerous than any drug. More addictive than any drug. Its ravaged society. Its the reason why sat scores have been trending lower since 2006.

Um... I’ll need a source for that claim.
