Yes and the temptation for Jesus was much greater than for any of us. He was promised the world (what does that tell you about who owns the physical world?), and he was the only son of God. (who else in human flesh would be entitled to rule all?)
And look at Adam. He wasn't overtaken by force. Satan went through Eve to corrupt him, and ultimately it was both of their actions that brought original sin to humanity. You can be mad at Satan, but he only cajoled you into his service.
People with faith aren't interested in his rewards, and simply cannot be affected by those who work for him, whether they be a Jew or not.
