That will be coming, just not right away. When citizenship verification is required to achieve Section 8 subsidy money, over 75% of LA's current S8 residents will become ineligible. This - the housing of illegals - plays a significant role in SF and LA homelessness.

They have been watching what Gov Abbott (R - TX) is doing to clean up Austin, because the Ds that run the city won't do a damned thing about it. He is moving these people off the streets to land owned by the state. They are razing the encampment areas. They will have food, water, sanitary facilities, and medical/mental care provided. They will be evaluated to see why they are homeless and helped if possible.
