Watch that, I intend to follow this up with an extended write-up. Take note that it clears up a lot of things, and Peter Zeihan has rarely been wrong on the broad strokes, even if he's a blackpilled Gen-Xer. I'm impressed at how incredibly doom-aligned he is. To fluff things up, here's his take on Canada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnwPSPkC2j8

You say that like it's a bad thing. Our generation had the privilege of growing up knowing we were trapped between the boomers and millennials and would never rule the world. As a result, we were never under any illusions that life would be anything but a bitch. Once you accept that the system will never be on your side you can move on to more important things, like sex, drugs and rock-n-roll. The other generations may be fighting over political bones, but I'm just here for the memes.

That's true, but if you've never watched one of P. Zehian's talks I highly recommend it. My pessimistic points on him is he absolutely would have preferred a world where Trump did not win in 2016, and he is himself a part of the swampy, glut-laden consultant class that comprises most of DC's "middle class."
edit: All that said about Zeihan personally, he's been on the fucking nose for the past decade or so. He's no idiot.
I'm watching this one right now. I may not agree with his solutions, but he seems pretty on point in his analysis. Personally, I don't think government can be fixed by changing the ideology of the people in control. It's still a system of control. The only way to fix it is splintering it into a thousand pieces and scattering it to the wind. Shrink it small enough that you can drown it in a bathtub. I support Trump because cages need to be rattled, but the only political agenda I have is securing as much liberty for as many people as possible. What they choose to do with it is none of my concern, provided they leave me the hell alone.
I say nothing about is proscriptions to "solve" certain "problems." All I promote is he is on the fucking nose about how things are shifting in geopolitics.
