So here's a crazy idea: how about making a section (page?) listing Made in USA products? Like when I want X, I can open that page, enter X and find a list of American manufacturers that make X. Equally one could have a Hall of Shame page listing shill/SJW companies (e.g., Nike) that you should not buy stuff from. Whaddya think?

If it was on a separate page and kept well away from the memes and energy, yeah, I could see something like that. Certainly I wish there was a page where I could see products whenever I need something, an easy reference. Apply the ban hammer to anyone who advertises on the main page.
But it would be easier if it was crowdsourced, like T_D & TDW are, because pedes could provide feedback and keep everything legit. When things are downvoted (and there should be some guidance about "when the op is lying about being made in America, downvote"), they could get hidden, so mods would have less work keeping it clean.
But yeah... complications like 90% manufacturing in US, but 10% slave manufacturing abroad, etc... that would all have to be ironed out with clear rules ahead of time. I don't think it would be enough to just have "some" of the company in the US. All companies could claim that. I'd prefer pure Made in America only.
Well then that's a start, let's just say that we list any US-owned business (meaning they are incorporated in USA, not on Cayman Islands), owned by actual people as opposed to a fund-of-fund-of-fund, and products are made entirely in USA. One example would be knife makers, they typically use US steel and have their manufacturing done in USA.
