So true. I got banned from javascript. And of course, I wasn't being obnoxious or posting anything political, somebody just read my profile and realized I had wrongthink. The mods even told me the reason I got banned was "we think we're better off without you here", lmao.
Same thing happened to my first Reddit account. I had it from 2010 to 2015, with upwards of 200K comment karma, but as soon as I started showing support for the President I started getting banned everywhere.
I finally ditched that account when Reddit became pretty much read-only except for TD. And I’ve been through four accounts since then for the same reason, lol.
I think the economy will tank if he loses, so they should probably get on the train. It may also tank in 2024 depending on who gets elected, but as long as he's at the helm we are going to climb and climb and climb.
I honestly thought it was being called redacted because anytime I saw a thread that wasn't strictly leftist propaganda all the posts below quickly morphed into a tapestry of 'comment removed' a thousandfold over.
Its more like militant leftist politics and groupthink. I remember when I first joined Reddit I was taken back on a sub called "politics" that refused to hear even a moderate position.
They didn't care about being accurate or respectful for anyone with a different point of view. It was just downvotes to oblivion. I always try to be courteous for their opinions. I only downvoted things that were obviously false, misleading, or just completely insane.
Lets say they were just good at building walls and not bridges which is completely hypocritical of them. If they wanted a support and rally sub for their brand of politics like T_D so be it, just stay in r/Progressive or something, do not pretend that politics was somehow a place to openly discuss ideas, it clearly was a propaganda operation.
Usually lurk through reddit and I remember before the 2016 election you could actually have a somewhat civil discussion on that sub. Now it's so one sided that you get banned if disagree with their narrative. Reddit as a whole is no longer a free place of discussion. Hopefully something comes and replaces it soon. However, I'm not holding my breath.
But I like calling them redacted. I'm not advertising for their shitty echo chamber
Yeah seriously, no more secret safe words, let's say what the fuck we are talking about now lol.
I didn't even know that. I thought it was a play on the fact that anything in there is controlled speech.
HUH.
The more you learn ...
Spez: does that mean ... The end of "spez:"?
Edit: yes. Yes it is the end of spez.
I generally just call them r/eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I genuinely always translated that into Reddit in general.
I got banned from /r/politics for brigading - from here. LOL Reddit will probably have to make up some new rules because of this site.
just got my ban yesterday... before long it will just be bots talking with each other on that sub
Wasn't it proven that if bots talking to each other long enough, they would all turn conservative?
Maybe we should r/askreddit?
I think it was racist, they would turn racist if I remember right.
Cant be racist if its true
Devs should strip the referral url for any links to reddit from this site.

I subscribe to a real estate sub and they even complain about him there.
They are afraid he is going to tank the economy...?????????

That's what they'd hope for, then they could blame it on them even though they set the maximum wage at $6 an hour.
The market is doing great, which they would know if they based their opinions on facts.
/r/politics = low informed, propaganda, full of bots/shills, deranged, morons.
Dare I say, fuck r/politics, fuck spez and fuck Eric Ciaramella?
Yes, you dare. Feelsgoodman.jpg
Here is my response to my most recent /r/politics ban.
Todays top post is about how some washed up singer feels like he doesn't like Trump.
r/politics is a total disaster
Second favourite username, also most accurate description of r/polishits

You just decribed all of Reddit. What a flagrant s-show it is...no wonder our youth are so messed up.
/r/politics is pure faggotry
You mean
r/politics?
I feel so subversive <3
They, like reddit itself, are in the backpocket of the DNC.
Hell yeah!
