The simple reality is that probably the only thing preventing those from being trust worthy is that nobody wants to pay. Who ever pays the bills, gets to decide the rules. And right now we are all letting the advertisers pay....so they get to make the rules. But if we paid, we’d get to make the rules.
But no one wants to pay. Perhaps that means the cold truth is that none of this stuff is actually worth any money. We only do it because it’s free.

So, I actually specifically made this account to argue against that idea. We need discourse. One side, or one ideology, is dominating everything and systematically removing ideas that are contrary. This place is a direct response to that, but this place seems to be an echo chamber too. I get why it exists though.
I'm not sure what the long term solution is, I wish tue big platforms would fire their social justice warrior trust and safety committees...
