Just to get the nomenclature correct, modern American liberalism is the opposite of Progressivism. Progressives ( Big P ) is Globalist, Big government, and wants centralized control of the economy. The current democrats are not Liberal.

No. Freedom of Religion is in the Bill of Rights for a reason. Government does not “accept” religious expression. Government stands the fuck aside in freedom of religion, speech, assembly, and the right to keep and bear arms.
