Good thing. President Trump can appoint who he wants! And I know he trusts his family - that's a good thing.

An honest question - what is it that concerns you about Kushner? So far I haven't seen anything overt to warrant concern.

That's way to much truth for these cats, xir. Tread lightly or they will bring down the d-port hammer on you for being an anti-s.

Well, do you believe President Trump is wrong to trust Kushner? After all, Jarrod is the Father of Trump's Grandchildren..

Of course, not all son-in-laws are awesome, but Trump seems to like him!

Whoa there, that sounds like antisemitism. Sort of like how it's against the rules to say the US shouldn't be handing 38.5 billion dollars to Israel every year.

Fuck Kushner and Ivanka, they're globalists.

"Fuck Kushner and Ivanka" - whoa dude, all due respect but that's not a nice thing to say about Donald Trump's daughter

I voted for trump and personally dont want a trump dynasty for presidents. I like Eric but because hes a great shtposter. Ivanka seems to work hard but she is more of a globalist then a conservative. And Kushner I dont really like

Trump credits Kushner with a lot of the legwork to win in 2016. Hopefully he's useful here too.

Well, if anyone understands the importance and effectiveness of walls, it'd be the Jews. Let's hope he's more Jewish than Leftist.

>if anyone understands the importance and effectiveness of walls, it'd be the Jews.

Yet EVERY Democrat Congressional Jew (and there are LOTS of them) voted to fund Israel's border defense while refusing to funding our wall construction.

I'd bet heavily that it's a good thing because GEOTUS did it. He knows Kushner very well and he'd never delegate such an important project to someone who'd screw it up.

Reading some of the other responses, I'm disappointed to see a focus on Kushner being Jewish. Is there anything that could be less relevant?

I suspect the antisemitism was the point of the post, OP pushed it. The discussion went sideways immediately, because OP is focusing on Kushner's jewishness instead of what he's doing.

Depends on if it's the US border or a border between foreign nations.

Kushner is a registered democrat. So he is likely brain damaged and apt to wear a pussy hat at inappropriate times. But he does know how to manage a building project, and that is all the wall is.

It's kinda hard to discuss a news article without its content. Merely slapping up a screenshot seems counterproductive, when the question is "is this good or bad?"

Here's the link.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/472021-trump-puts-kushner-in-charge-of-overseeing-border-wall-construction

"Current and former administration officials told the Post that Kushner has taken the lead on the wall construction project, holding biweekly meetings covering the progress of the wall, contractor data, the location of the wall and how funding is being used.

"Kushner is reportedly pressuring U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to speed up the process of obtaining private land along the U.S.-Mexico border to build the wall.

"Kushner has frustrated officials with his lack of knowledge about government and his high expectations for the timeline, some told the Post.

“So he took a much more hands-on role in figuring out, mile by mile, how to get more wall up,” a person involved with the construction told the Post. “It didn’t help put wall up faster and cheaper. His interventions actually just created more inefficiency in the process.”

Mmmmmkay. So, the progress on the wall is slower than the President wants it to be, and he asked one of his kids to find out what's going on. Anonymous swamp types are bitching about it, and the Washington Post wrote a hit piece.

This must have been a good move by our President, to assure a construction project gets done.
