It's really strange. Admittedly, I've been away from cities and websites that amplify their message, but it might be a combination of a lot of things. They got their own (alleged) personal scandals going on. Pelosi was already trying to downplay them before suspicion started to come down on Biden. AOC endorsed Bernie, and considering Tulsi has been swimming against the current ever since she did the same, the DNC might be just bringing the hammer down. Especially when they're struggling so hard to have their candidates stand out.

The Squad was useful to the DNC to spur the narrative that we're just all a bunch of rabid racists, but their individual ideals and goals don't really fall in line with the DNC's. Case-in-point, the Dems have been trying to play these hearings off as, "We don't want to do this, but justice demands it." Meanwhile, Tlaib is literally selling shirts that say, "Impeach the MF." The DNC says one thing, the Squad says another. They probably got a talking to.
