“Conservatism is the antidote to tyranny. It's the only one. It's based on thousands of years of human experience. There is nothing narrow about the conservative philosophy. It's a liberating philosophy. It is a magnificent philosophy. It is a philosophy for the ages, for all times.” ― Mark R. Levin

Conservatism in the US has to do with the preservation of our Liberal heritage, which was very purposely designed to be an antidote to tyranny. Conservatism in other places is something else, again.
Is it really? I don't consider the "far right" to be conservative anywhere. They tend to want to destroy anything existing and build an authoritarian order, as opposed to conserving anything.
“Conservatism” and “far-right” are not synonymous you dolt.
Dolt? I just fucking said that: " I don't consider the "far right" to be conservative anywhere"
