I am surprised to see Mel Gibson confirm what we all knew and wondered. Though, this statement makes me wonder what he is referring to: “There is a creative and loving force inside most of us that guides us through life. These people don’t have this. For them it’s the opposite.”

Apart from Jesus Christ and His redemption, our hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Hollywood simply acts out that condition.

However, everyone does have a conscience that instructs us to do what is right, which alone is proof of a moral Creator. It is a voice that can be silenced over time, if we choose that result. It is not definitely not a new age-style "force", though.

He’s talking about the Holy Spirit imo

I considered that as a possibility. Referring to the Holy Spirit as a "force" is definitely not Biblical, though. The Holy Spirit is God and requires love, respect, and devotion from those who call themselves disciples. A force is manipulated or used--the Holy Spirit is not.

He must be talking about some Star Wars-style "force".
