Auto Expanding Embeds, Sorting by Oldest, and Password Resets - Suggestions & Bugs Thread

This post is a follow-up to the previous 'suggestions & bug reports' thread.

We're aware of the session timeout issue and will be addressing the problem as soon as possible.

  • Added auto-expand embed option in settings.
  • Added option to sort comments by oldest + toggle in settings.
  • Increased maximum title size from 255 to 300.
  • Password reset emails are now functional.
  • Adjustments to dark mode.
  • Reworked how user deleted comments display.
  • YouTube embeds now maintain timestamp.
  • Outbound links now open in new tabs.
  • Fixed the recurring front page errors.
  • Reverted "spez" to "edit".

In case you missed it, dark mode is now available in the settings page.

I like being able to easily return a thread I’ve commented on, or at least know what topic the comment was made against.

Saved threads or comments would help, but I’m curious about enabling other similar functionality to reddit in comment history.

  1. Topic title is displayed over your comment
  2. Comment itself is hyperlinked to the thread it was made.

Either would make it easier to track replies and participate in a back and forth prior to any kind of DM functionality w/ notifications.
