Craziness like this is the crux of the problem. If judges can order lawful and hardworking people to accept robbery and crime against themselves by any criminal gang (of which border jumpers are certainly one such example) then not only should this judge be disbarred, they should spend a lot of time in the sunny club fed greybar motel.
Evidence that judges are ordering crime ought be a 100% prosectorial slam-dunk against the judge. They aren't lawmakers or legislators so have never had authority to pass or repeal laws.
Folks: Do you know how hard English teachers work? At least 9-10 hours a day. After 3:30, they go home to hours of correcting papers. AND WITH ILLEGALS? Most of them don't care to learn English. This woman deserves a medal of honor,
And in my state they have so many early release and non-holiday days off. I question the assumption that teachers are all heroes but I do have sympathy for those teaching English to a 6th grader who doesn't know any English. That's f'ed up. And I have sympathy for the smart kids in those classes that sit there bored while everything is dumbed down for a handful of kids who's parents broke the law to improve their lot in life.

My state is calling it ELL for English Language Learners. The local high school just got a D on state rankings because of so many ELLs failing the tests. Meanwhile one of our senators is admonishing Trump for reducing the number of "refugees" allowed in.
Back in the late 1970s I worked with a woman who's parents had moved to the U.S. from Quebec when she was a toddler. They spoke (Canadian) french at home. When she showed up for first grade she didn't speak english. No coddling, no ESL, she just learned the hard way; total immersion.
My girlfriend who speaks Tagalog totally agrees with you. Why teach kids to speak Spanish just because the Spaniards were the biggest colonizing assholes on the planet at one time. AOC bitches about cauliflower being colonial but what about the language her own mother speaks proudly. They should be dying to shrug that off and start speaking English as a point of pride in their new homeland.
