Sort of like actual voting should be. If you haven't had a job for 5 years, haven't raised your own kids without welfare, etc., then you don't get to vote. Skin in the game or get the fuck out.
downvotes should cost you karma. You can't downvote if you have 0 karma.
Only allow users with > X karma to downvote. Shouldn't cost anything to fight false flags.
Should also make it look like they successfully downvoted so they continue wasting time downvoting while pumping up those user engagement numbers.
Also, maybe we could have memes in banner/ad format that have content for trolling brigadiers.
