Capitalism hasn't failed anyone. Capitalism is the fairest, most moral socio-economic system that has ever existed. It is nothing more than the most efficient allocation of limited resources. There is no force or coercion involved in Capitalism: everything is voluntary interaction and voluntary trade by free men.
It is marxism, moral degeneracy and indoctrination that has produced "this thing".
You forgot his struggle to lower the age of consent, because women his age don't want to date him and he identifies as a 'lesbian' so he can call him self gay, and' yet be 100% straight. He got a 'gender theory' degree so he can teach women how to properly behave to cater to beta males like him.

One can only image how much further civilization would be if Capitalism didn't have to carry the dead-weight of socialism, communism, feminism and statism on it's back. If pure Capitalism were unleashed - we got close during the Industrial Revolution and 1920s America - we might even be a space-faring civilization by now. The essence of capitalism is very simple:
Property rights
Enforcement of private contracts
Everything else, namely free markets, small government, free speech, the non-aggression principle etc. result from the two tenets above. There is NO COERCION and NO VIOLENCE in Capitalism.

I'm referring more to things like consumerism and brand identity, which eventually became the woke capitalism of today.
