Someone close to me ended up in this situation. She was a high-performing student and wanted to leave her local ghetto school district for a better neighboring one. The ghetto school Principal tried to block it on diversity grounds - she was of a different race than most of the ghetto school students. The Principal of the good school found a loophole: she could beat the diversity scheme by claiming interest in the one program the good school had that the ghetto school didn't, in this case CAD and architecture. She claimed to want to be an architect and was able to go to a better school.
TL;DR: Kids need to be a good students, Parents need to learn the loopholes. Otherwise it's off to diverse cesspool schools.
I'm sure there are ways out. It just is so gross and sad to me that they are trying to force diversity on white people. Literally designed to destroy them. And this is under Trump and whites are still a majority. What will this look like in 20 years?
The thing I didn't mention in my anecdote was that everyone involved was not white. Woke bureaucrats would destroy opportunities for any high achiever if it helps meet a quota.
