We are dividing ourselves. We must stay on reddit, in the public eye, or we lose the power our massive numbers and cohesive activity provides. WE need to move as a unit, not as small pieces.
Our voice is larger when we stick together.
I like the new website, but it's not our home, yet.
Curious. The mods made this site. The only thing fracturing our fambase is a hesitancy to commit to this thing. Why go back to Reddit other than to post there about moving here?, Shake the dust off your feet and move on.
You are right. But your suggestion is not practical. It's easier to stay and stick to reddit until we are forced off. Asking people to move of their own accord will not be 1:1 in user base. We will lose people.
We need to stay strong until the time is right.
I appreciate the site here, but it's not the right time to migrate yet. We are fracturing ourselves, which is reddit's goal. They are putting the pressure on us so we can't take it anymore.

Maybe not yours, but it's mine.
