Judge Judy needs to teach a class for her fellow judges.

Show me a single/divorced mother that hasn’t used the child as a weapon against the father

Pro tip: you can’t

on edit (spez has no home here): thanks for providing examples that correct me

I have. The money was where they fought, but the kids largely came out as a demilitarized zone.

You're right more often than not though.

The female pedes on here would be the good ones. I think often women feel scared about being a single parent, lawyer up, and the grabbly lawyer scares her more into letting him fight for her as her new protector. Good women can get turned by the system into being entitled victims.

My daughter had to fight with her lawyer and then the judge to give every Christmas to the daddy. We're Jewish and she felt that it was only right that he have his daughter for his most important holiday. I'm very proud of her for that.

I have an ex-gf who divorced her husband because he wouldn't stop hiring escorts. His logic was it's his money, and as a friend I asked "what about the kids?" No, it isn't always the mom.

In America...the house is stacked against the dad. Exceptions to the rule dont constitute the rule.

11
Torgga2010 11 points ago +12 / -1

I never did...I never spoke bad about his father in front of him or where he might overhear it...but it did not work in reverse. Until son was grown and realized his fathers faults he hated me and thought his dad walked on water.

Torgga2010 10 points ago +10 / -0

I also never asked for alimony and he basically never paid child support either...and that was court ordered.

grenades_and_ham 9 points ago +9 / -0

Same here but reversed. Mom walked out when they were 3 & 5, never paid a dime in court ordered child support. Don't get me started.

It’s incredibly gracious of you to have not shit talked the other parent. I’m glad your son finally realized the truth. It must have been an incredibly tough situation to live through.

I’ve known many bitter divorces and breakups and I always feel for the kids caught in between. I also feel for the “sane” parent that keeps getting shat on.

It’s always a good thing when the kids grow and begin to understand the reality of the situation instead of shit they’ve been fed and brainwashed into believing.

Same thing happened to my friend. She never spoke a cross word about her ex in front of the kids, but both of her kids hated her and chose to be with dad as soon as they were old enough to. It didn't come out until after they were grown and they reached out to their mom to rebuild the relationship. Thankfully, there's love there now, but they'll never be as close as they could have been.

5
pepperconchobhar 5 points ago +6 / -1

My daughter hasn't. She's worked hard to help maintain the relationship between father and daughter. Even when the father wasn't cooperating, she insisted on skype calls and kept calling him with the big decisions and updates. He got help to cope with his depression and now he's in love with his girl and she loves her daddy.

Not all women are bitches. There are many who put the kid before themselves.

Even worse, it was a jury that sided with the mother who wanted to mutilate the son. Then again ... liberals love abortion.

3
rustyrockers 3 points ago +3 / -0

The non-biological, stepmom, might I add! How the fuck the biological father is "aborted" from the equation in favor of the stepmom defies heaven and earth.

Too Bad JJ is backing Bloomberg for President. Sad.

14
Ginaccc 14 points ago +14 / -0

Yeah I was sad to hear that too. I love jj and watch every day. I especially love it when she deports loudmouth morons right out of her courtroom.

MAGAlorian_Armor 8 points ago +8 / -0

I just don't get that at all. This is the guy who said he is going to have to re-think his positions in order to get leftist votes. What the --

5
AlphaPepe 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, I don't get why you'd vote for a guy who literally admitted he's just saying what you want to hear.

4
Femprep 4 points ago +4 / -0

He’s been republican, Democrat and libertarian. He’s used to changing his opinion to suit the situation. One more time won’t make a difference.

spezisthedevil 15 points ago +15 / -0

Judge Judy is so common sense all the time, which is awesome, but she doesn't have enough sense to walk away from the Democrat party, which is retarded. I don't understand how such a reasonable person could keep voting Democrat. It's like some long term Democrats have an incurable virus that makes them incapable of realizing that it's okay to be Republican, or something. It's weird.

9
Pede 9 points ago +9 / -0

She probably still sees it as Democrats = JFK. Boomers get behind on the times and never fully catch up.

Fighting for my kid in Tennessee courts despite having been in Nevada for the last year and a half. My son's mother is a drunk and a speed addict. They still insist that my son should be with the "mother."

Men don't have equal standing in Family court in Tennessee.

With protection. 1 moment of fun isn't worth 18 years of child support

6
Mainwar 6 points ago +6 / -0

24 years if the state (GA) requires support if they are in college.... and there is no requirement for the mother to spend it on the child.

Just one moment?

Wrap it before you tap it!

Much respect to JJ for this.

4
JesusisLord 4 points ago +6 / -2

I’m on the reverse. The Father is using my daughter as a weapon. It’s really outstanding at what lengths he’ll go to , to do this.

4
StarGirl 4 points ago +4 / -0

Based Judy.

3
kag_WI 3 points ago +4 / -1

Judge Judy should be a required class in high school.

Judge Judy has watched The Red Pill.

2
AA_JamShred 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm not sure if this is still true but it used to be that, in some states, if you're married when your wife gives birth, it doesn't matter if a blood test shows it's not your child or not you're now on the hook for child support, well past 18 and into college years sometimes.

That’s messed up!

2
BurnedExperiment 2 points ago +2 / -0

That "mother" looks like she smells like 4 day old fireball shots and used condoms

1
Marshall 1 point ago +1 / -0

If only that were true...

RenaissanceOfHope 1 point ago +1 / -0

If Judge Judy were younger, I would want her to be on the Supreme Court!
