I am in search of my next great book. Thought we should start a list of the books that all patriots should read. Knowledge is our ammunition.

  1. Animal farm. Of course. The left is using it as an instruction manual now.

  2. Homage to Catalonia. Orwell tells his story of “fighting” in the incredibly disorganized Spanish civil war. The left eats itself as usual.

  3. The civil war: A narrative by Shelby Foote. No really. I know it’s a billion pages long but every American should read those three volumes.

  4. Journey to the end of the night. Louis Ferdinand Celine. He got shit for being anti Semitic. But there’s more truth in this book than any other. It just shows you it’s all bullshit, in every country, throughout time.

  5. Band of brothers. Stephen Ambrose. Or anything by Stephen Ambrose.

  6. Benjamin Franklin. Walter Issacson. It’s hard to imagine one man doing so much in one lifetime back when things certainly weren’t easy.

  7. John Paul Jones. Evan Thomas. Navy guys don’t get much credit. Jones had balls of steel.

  8. War and peace. Tolstoy. Yeah it’s long. Yeah you won’t read it. But you should. It’s got everything. Life, family, Napoleon...

  9. The narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass. An American slave. Frederick Douglass. There’s a part where he’s escaping slavery and another slave refuses to go with him. That part left a big impact on my life. Some people will stay in their prison no matter what.

  10. Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Douglas Adams. Maybe it all really is just 42.

Honorable mentions: Catch 22, The longest day, The guns of august, Candide.
