Regarding that Triggly Puff meme: quite awhile ago, someone pointed out that she was actually sitting there quietly, knitting (now there's a lost art among the youth). Suddenly, someone in the back who the camera doesn't show starts chanting and she -- as we all see -- goes insane; 0 to 60 in a split second. Then, the chanting stops, and she slumps down, completely passive, as if someone threw a switch. The point was: literal mind control right before our eyes and almost no one noticed. (I always liked that girl in the foreground; priceless!)
