Ezra Klein is a faggot. This article is good, but I never understood why the conservstive religious right gives two fucks about what the Left thinks about them. Fuck them, they are not of or for God. Trump is, even without clearly or at all professing his faith. That much is obvious.

I'm an ordained Christian minister and Bible teacher. I can't stand it when people accuse me of hypocrisy for supporting President Trump.

I will be the first to acknowledge that he is probably not the perfect Christian (just like the rest of us). But that's not why he was hired. He's a president, not a pastor, and he's doing damn fine job of it. I don't want a Christian theocracy. I want liberty for everyone, regardless of their beliefs.

You can’t be a Christian and support the perversion and pro abortion agenda of the left. If you think you can then you need to read your bible and try to understand Gods word again. It is pretty clear.

sigh I grew up Catholic in the Bible Belt, among the kind of people who earnestly think that Catholics are not christians. I went to their church services and their classes, from time to time. The biggest surprise for me was that I knew the Bible better than their kids, even though they thought the Catholic Church doesn't teach the Bible.

It turns out, Catholic priests are very well educated and the Catholic calendar is organized to cover the entire New Testament and most of the old Testament over a period of about 5 years. Add in a few years of parochial school, and the whole thing is covered very thoroughly.

At that time, their preachers did not have to be educated, merely "inspired." I could sit in a service and would notice when the preacher would get a quote wrong.

But there was never any doubt in my mind that these were good people, who were doing their best to live well and faithfully. They were kind-hearted and generous, with the same hunger and thirst for justice I found at home.

These are the people that changed their teachings on the subject of abortion, knowing full well they were trying to save the lives of millions of black babies, and they got called racist. They noticed how children need different role models, and fare better in a loving and close environment, and got called sexist. They noticed that our politicians have stopped making the country's decisions in the best interests of its citizens, and got called deplorable.

Yup, the Left has an odor of mendacity that will not go away.
