Thank God this turned out okay for the guy but this just absolutely underscores why red flag laws are horrible. He should have never had to go to court and pay for lawyers to get his lawfully owned property back after seizure. All it takes is one pissed off ex or nasty neighbor to report you as a "threat".
Every time there is a story like this, it should be sent to all the pro-red flag Republicans (Crenshaw, I’m looking at you) as a reminder of how those BS laws will be exploited.

I would sue whoever reported me for defamation of character and emotional damages from the loss of personal security from not having my guns.
I am not sure I see the full story - was the post benign? And I don't know about you but I'm not posting any photos with my guns for this very reason.
