Yes, but acts don't matter. The urge is what makes you gay. Straight people who have sex with guys are not even gay. They stay straight inside. They are like animals who have no morals or self-respect, only base insticts of filling a hole.

Yea, I tried that as a teenager. To say that it did not help is an understatement. I discovered my orientation after falling in love with my high school best friend - straight of course - and I was greatly displeased because I wanted a family and kids later in my life. I did not "turn to gays" because I was ever rejected, it's the opposite. I was dreaming of girlfriends and my heart said "No, you're going to fall in love with that guy."

So I tried to persevere and force myself to be straight through sheer willpower (I was raised rightwing from like age 2). Chose a girl from the class and acted as if I was interested, but I could not go through with it. I told the truth to both my friend and the girl but paradoxically still tried to court the girl who had some serious problems of her own, and strangely, half-heartedly went along. I also pushed my friend away because I wanted to stop my feelings. The end result? Years of misery and depression for both me and the girl (that actually became physically dangerous at one point) and the friendship between me and the guy almost ruined.

What saved me was meeting my first boyfriend (and Trump). Yea, he was nothing special, and we probably used eachother as emotional crutches, but feeling loved worked wonders. Now I'm still good friends with the guy from highschool, parted with the girl (and the ex) on good terms, I'm happy, motivated and the most important thing; I'm more of a dedicated right-winger than ever, because I've learned the price of ideologies and learned to appreciate it. And Trump sounded the horn that called for greatness. MAGA does not just mean the US, because "America" is symbolic around the world. He is a source of inspiration every day too.

Sorry for the story. You might not have been interested in it. You might even think it's bullshit that I've just made up. I'm just saying that it's impossible to deny your desires. You're much better off being a rightwing gay guy with principles than a self-hating, conflicted mess.

Thank you! I appreciate your comment too. It seems like people in all time periods have tried the "let's get a girlfriend" strategy only to fail. I don't think of myself as part of the gay community (indeed you were right to put it between quotation marks) because it's too politicized. I like to view myself as a nationalist who falls in love with guys. Well, it has the added bonus of being partly immune to the left's criticism by calling them homophobes, using their tactic against them. But in the end, they just hate me more because their brain shuts down at the thought of a "minority" who is not hard left. I'm sure you can attest to the same, as a Jewish woman! Tell a leftist that you support Trump, and they will turn into a foaming-at-the-mouth Nazi!
