As much as I want to purge the cartels, I think we should do this carefully. Cartels are very much within the US borders and could potentially go after innocents when attacked. If we do against the cartels, I'd say it needs to be quick and all-encompassing. I trust Trump has a plan, but I imagine this could be like going against a hydra.

If Trump declares the Mexican cartels to be terrorists, that should allow him to circumvent the Posse Comitatus Act and send the military after their cohorts inside the U.S. - its no longer a "law enforcement" issue, its a foreign insurgency.
