in theory, the straight, white, male, republican president is bad ... until you meet him.
in theory, people are poor because they are "underprivileged" ... until you find out they are just lazy.
in theory, we should be helping all those needy illegals crossing our border ... until you meet all these criminals who traffic women, children, drugs, etc.
in theory, advocating for the fringe elements of society is noble ... until you realize you are just taking everything abnormal and trying to inflict it on a majority of normal people.
in theory, we need to act to solve Climate Change ... until you understand that the climate is always changing, the ecosystem has built-in coping mechanisms for change, it's based on junk science, there is nothing you can do to solve it, and everyone pushing it has an agenda.
in theory, welfare is helping societies poorest ... until you realize it is just enabling/growing a dependent social class.
