The conversion of the U.S. into a no-majority polyglot has been celebrated as "progress" for decades, with many laudatory news articles about "how in 20XX there will be no white majority" and so on.
I don't like racism and wish success to Americans of all backgrounds, but I also don't see why America as it has historically existed is such an abomination that an unprecedented population replacement is needed.

They openly admit they are hurting and intending to hurt white people, then in the next sentence they question why white people would ever feel like they are attacked. The true reason is because the stories saying whites have a "misperceived threat" to them are another in the string of attacks on whites. Denying that there is a threat is another way to further the threat they've created.
